My phone got past 5 years,it gave up and no tutorial on UA-cam, works,the speakers and head phone jack don't work,it boot loops and In fastboot&rescue mode it isn't being recognized by a PC although it takes charge but then doesn't charge the battery.
@@wachtersrk lol 4 years later I'm actually using it as my main phone phone again because my usual phone is having problems (I was still using it all this time for non-phone related things). The power button is literally gone (I have to turn it on by pressing down on metal stubs with a screwdriver), as is that button on the other side. The telephone mouthpiece is much too muffled so I use it with a headset because otherwise those on the other end couldn't hear me. The battery capacity is surprisingly good still, speaker, headphones, USB all fine. Occasionally the OS crashes and the phone restarts. However it's largely obsolete at this point (the old version of the revolut app on it was just killed off). so I can't really use this in the long term. I'd also be pretty much screwed if I had the same problem in the video again, what with no power button to hold down.
Thanks to you! I finally opened my Huawei Phone. Got a mini heart attack way back after charging my phone for 24 hours and the screen was still black after normally turning it on. Lesson learned, don't let the battery runs out to almost 0%.

I have a p20 pro, it was working well at 2pm, I haven't dropped it or anything. I left it on sleep mode in my pocket and tried to turn it on at 3.40 but the screen was black. I assumed it was out of charge (but it had around 60% when I last used it) so I plugged it in for around an hour. When I got back to the phone I tried turning it on and nothing happened. I plugged it back in and held the power button and it vibrated, showed the "Huawei - powered by android" message for a second, then the screen cuts out. It then keeps doing that every 5 seconds or so, unless i unplug it again. you have any tips or ideas?
Dude i charged my phone yesterday and everything went well. Today morning i went to charge, and it didn't! I tried switching power outlets and still didn't work. Now the charger wasn't dropped and it worked perfectly fine the day before

Yendry my P10 was under water for a few minutes. I removed the SIM tray and put the phone in a bowl of dry rice, covered for a few days. All that happens when I charge it I get the blue led. I tried to switch it on by doing what your video says, but it still won't switch on

It didn't worked for me. I have a Mate 10 Pro , just washed it under the tap with water and soap (I know that alchohol damages the protective layer of the screen , so I don't use products that are alchohol based) because it has IP 67 protection rating against dust and water and I want my phone to be clean from time to time . 1 minute after I dried it , the screen turned greener ( the background , the app , everything was the same , but in green tone) , after a few seconds it returned to normal , than again after a few seconds it was greener and than almost full green . Than it only vibrated periodicaly and now , when I try to use your tips , it only vibrates and it turns the notification LED in red color . I try to charge it but it doesn't . It's been 5-6 hours after the washing thing , I also kept it on the radiator for 3-4 hours . Please , can somebody help me ?
Hey! I might help. My huawei mate 20 lite was dead for year and a half after it fell on the concrete. I could turn it on, but the screen was all black with occasional random colors. After that, it couldn't even charge. Nothing. Then I went and I bought the new phone and mourned all my lost data. Now, a year and a half later, I found this. But t didn't work. What I did was use a combination of this AND this video: Huawei Mate 20/30/40 Fixed: Black Screen / Frozen / Won't Restart / Won't turn on. First, I charged it for 5 hours. Then, while it was unplugged, pressed at the same time volume up and power (for a minute). I tried this for about 5-6 times. Nothing. Then, I pressed quickly a lot of times volume up, then quickly a lot of times volume down, then quickly a lot of times power button. Then, I pressed volume down and power at the same time, and held it for about a minute. I did that 5-6 times, too. Nothing. Then I "resetted" it with those quick and many like before. Then I plugged the charger in. I finally noticed the red dot blinking in the "notification light" spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then, while it is charging, I pressed volume up and power button. IT FINALLY VIBRATED AND TURNED ON!! I now went to this youtube video and followed further the instructions. While I held the volume up and power button (never released it), I kept pushing the volume up, and released the power button. I held the power up button for about 10 s, then released it and left it to charge for about an hour. I will update on how it's going
FOLKS, YOU MUST CHARGE THE PHONE (USB CHARGER) FOR 2+ HOURS AS THE VIDEO PRESENTER SAYS. Then you can try pressing the physical buttons to get the phone back. Mine was vibrating regularly, black screen that glows and goes off and on every few seconds, vibrates again, etc. ONLY AFTER PROPER CHARGING was I able to do a volume up and power button hard reset and heard the Huawei jingle again. When I get an adapter,, I will plug the phone in to a TV HDMI and see what is what. Charging the phone 2-3 hours if it is near flat is important, don't neglect it.

Can you please help me out. My phone is a leica fashion phone. It's completely dead. I thought it was the charger so bought a new one. Wasn't the charger. Do you think it is the battery? And if I take it to a shop to be fixed will my stuff get erased? I have to much stuff to lose. Please reply. Thanks

Yendry my P10 was under water for a few minutes. I removed the SIM tray and put the phone in a bowl of dry rice, covered for a few days. All that happens when I charge it I get the blue led. I tried to switch it on by doing what your video says, but it still won't switch on

It didn't worked for me. I have a Mate 10 Pro , just washed it under the tap with water and soap (I know that alchohol damages the protective layer of the screen , so I don't use products that are alchohol based) because it has IP 67 protection rating against dust and water and I want my phone to be clean from time to time . 1 minute after I dried it , the screen turned greener ( the background , the app , everything was the same , but in green tone) , after a few seconds it returned to normal , than again after a few seconds it was greener and than almost full green . Than it only vibrated periodicaly and now , when I try to use your tips , it only vibrates and it turns the notification LED in red color . I try to charge it but it doesn't . It's been 5-6 hours after the washing thing , I also kept it on the radiator for 3-4 hours . Please , can somebody help me ?

I might help. My huawei mate 20 lite was dead for year and a half after it fell on the concrete. I could turn it on, but the screen was all black with occasional random colors. After that, it couldn't even charge. Nothing. Then I went and I bought the new phone and mourned all my lost data.
Now, a year and a half later, I found this. But t didn't work.
What I did was use a combination of this AND this video:
Huawei Mate 20/30/40 Fixed: Black Screen / Frozen / Won't Restart / Won't turn on.
First, I charged it for 5 hours. Then, while it was unplugged, pressed at the same time volume up and power (for a minute). I tried this for about 5-6 times. Nothing.
Then, I pressed quickly a lot of times volume up, then quickly a lot of times volume down, then quickly a lot of times power button.
Then, I pressed volume down and power at the same time, and held it for about a minute. I did that 5-6 times, too. Nothing.
Then I "resetted" it with those quick and many like before.
Then I plugged the charger in.
I finally noticed the red dot blinking in the "notification light" spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, while it is charging, I pressed volume up and power button.
IT FINALLY VIBRATED AND TURNED ON!!
I now went to this youtube video and followed further the instructions.
While I held the volume up and power button (never released it), I kept pushing the volume up, and released the power button.
I held the power up button for about 10 s, then released it and left it to charge for about an hour.
I will update on how it's going

FOLKS, YOU MUST CHARGE THE PHONE (USB CHARGER) FOR 2+ HOURS AS THE VIDEO PRESENTER SAYS. Then you can try pressing the physical buttons to get the phone back. Mine was vibrating regularly, black screen that glows and goes off and on every few seconds, vibrates again, etc. ONLY AFTER PROPER CHARGING was I able to do a volume up and power button hard reset and heard the Huawei jingle again. When I get an adapter,, I will plug the phone in to a TV HDMI and see what is what. Charging the phone 2-3 hours if it is near flat is important, don't neglect it.
