"SOUL TRAIN. Television's longest-running, nationally syndicated music program in television history, and the hippest trip in America. 60 non-stop minutes across the tracks in your mind, into the exciting world of soul."
George Duke did a fantastic job remaking TSOP with a New Jack Swing sound that still paid tribute to the original and to Gamble & Huff. It still holds up today. My opinion is that TSOP 87 roared new life into the show.
