"Braiding Sweet Grass", "Gathering Moss"...I'm sensing a theme here. What's gonna be next..."Trimming the Hedges"? No, no...don't get up...I'll show myself out. 🤣🤪
Yes! It's very exciting stuff. I'll be happy when it's out, haha. I haven't read Witches of Brooklyn, but it sounds right up my alley. How was it for you? Is the Pride and Prejudice manga the Jane Austen story, or something else? I've never heard of On a Sunbeam, either! Looks like I have some books to find!
Yeah, I feel this. I liked Slaying Vampires by him overall, but the end really messed me up because I thought it was so gr in the torture of it that didn't fit with the rest of the book. I've only read these two by Grady, so I'm unsure how others would hold up.

Ha! I love it, Keith.
I love the variety of different types of books / genres you read!
Thanks, Marley! I try to keep it interesting for myself haha
agreed that dowry isn't really horror but it's so beautiful 😍
It really is! I loved the prose a lot.
I feel exactly the same way about Gathering Moss! I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed it =) I also listened to it on audio
Yesss please read Beartown or Man Called Ove. I NEED to hear your thoughts on some of his work.
Aw how exciting you have a book coming out! I’m August my favorite reads were Witches of Brooklyn, Pride and Prejudice (the manga), and On A Sunbeam ❤

did you read, shades of soul? 100 peoms on dark and complex emotions?
I haven't yet! I'll add it to my TBR. Thanks for the rec!
I think grady hendrix has good ideas but he just gives me the ick and does not follow through on concepts
