I personally think Kevin is very brave to step into Marti's shoes and be his replacement. I'm sure there's been so much negativity and comparison to Marti but well done to him for taking on the challenge of being a frontman of a band where for 30yrs the original frontman was basically the essence of the group.

Wet wet wet was more than the lead singer it was all the band members who still want to carry on doing what they love and Kevin is an excellent addition bringing his own style on classic songs.
Wet Wet Wet didn't roll over and die when Mr P left. They found themselves a great guy in Kevin and he has helped breathe a new life into the band that I've followed for 31 years. In the meantime MP is away in his solo bubble and personally, it's the best thing that could have happened. All the best to him but the Wets have moved on and it's so much better now.
I tried, I really did try to like it but it is hard when you've heard the original version. This song lost something (few things actually) compared to Marti's version, like its missing a soul, warmth, smoothness even the charm, stage presence is not there too...so sorry man.

Liberty X wasn't a 'crap band' they had quite a few hits, which helped Kevin along the way to the place he is now. Glad he's with what is an iconic 80s/90s band.

Great days. We were a Warwick main dealer and had regular stocks of the range.

Clearly this fella can sing, but, compared to Pellow, he has all the on stage charisma of a wet cloth and it sounds like a great singer doing a karaoke.. He lacks the punch, the depth and soul of Pellow. Even when he does try and get the crowd involved, it is just perfunctory. But then, that is the difference between a star performer and a guy with a good voice. The most character he showed was when the song was over! It is just flat. Sorry. (For what it is worth, when I listened to Marti Pellow's money-grab album where he covered Wet Wet Wet, that lost its sprakle too. ) Maybe a new album of new songs that he helped write might instill some belief and passion.
