- Wales' World Cup campaign had a spectacular lift-off in Kitakyushu on Monday when 15,000 people attended an open training session.
Kitakyushu Stadium was packed to the rafters as tournament fever gripped a city that has been turned into a home from home for Wales' squad.

Also at that time, we went out by bus to Holyhaed...
Those are very good memory to remember for us.

Ken narville they aren’t forced to sing. No one forced them to sing. Some ppl I’m pretty sure, didn’t even sing cuz they didn’t want to and there’s nothing wrong with that. Omotenashi. Japanese ppl take pride in it. We want the other person to feel welcomed and have a once in a lifetime experience. The sincerity these ppl had when they were singing, for you to say that they were forced is downright insulting. As if Japanese ppl can’t feel anything besides “politeness” and feeling “forced”

kleenex9981 There are a lot of travelling fans in there to but Japanese really came out for Wales.. They’ve done this for no other team. Not like this.
@@lukenotskywalker2957 each area supports different ways . Walse team practices here in south Kyushu .the others were also welcomed different ways like kids showed haka . each area supports each team .. England was welcomed with brass band ,etc.
july 4th Yes we had a similar thing there.. But the point is that New Zealand didn’t have 15,000 people show up at a training session and sing their anthem passionately..

Look I understand that Wales and Japan have strong links..
A Japanese man who loved the nation created a whole course around teaching Welsh in Japan.. Wales and Welsh mythology has appeared many times in Japanese anime and media.. Japan has a very big love for our dog breeds as well.. Welsh Corgi being the top..
We’ve also got strong rugby links as well.. A number of Welsh players have gone to Japan in the last few years to see our their careers.. Namely Shane Williams.. We’ve played each other a number of times and Japan managed their first win against us quite recently as well.. Plus we have a dragon on our flag.. Which makes us more interesting and unique compared to other nations.. And we are unique. A small nation with a global reach and culture that people love.. We have a fondness for Japanese culture in Wales as well.. From Japanese card games, to manga, games & anime ect.. This is despite having few Japanese people here.. We have more Chinese, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia few Japanese.. Those that do come fall in long with the nation and see a lot of home in it. Cymru am Beth 🏴

ウェ―ルズ国歌を会場にいた見学者が斉唱、ウェ―ルズ選手がそれに答えて拍手、直後ある選手が観客席を観て確認後、ボ―ルをスローインしてくれたのは感動した。流石、鉄鋼の町つながり。
こういう応援の仕方は素晴らしいです。海外から来た選手にエールを送る良い例ですね。皆さん真似しましょうね。これは拡散だよね。
