I’ve used the BurnX in a few men’s league games and so far I love it. Big fan of the OG Burn and I think this is better. Takes some getting used to coming off an XRS but it’s sweet
Great stuff. I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. One thing to note is that Carolina, OSU and Tufts all rocked the STX Aero on-field during the spring '24 season.
I did like the Triad the one year i wore it. It was very comfortable and it had this Velcro strapping on the side versus any sort of snapping and it was just very quick and easy to adjust.
Don't forget about that Riddel helmet that came out. Question. The look is always the focus on the helmets. I think our community struggles to have the helmets worn correctly when it comes to chin straps and fitting. At times we want to look cool compared to safe, you shouldn't be able to pop you helmet on & off with the chin strap bucketed. You shouldn't get hit and your helmet rolls 10 yards away from you. What do you think?
Hate to say it ... the Thumbnail was not one of the first Gen Cascades, I want to say they first really showed up at 96 final four, I remember seeing them on Cuse and was like sick.

@ECD you're all good. it was the shape of the brim that was slightly off ... th OG gen 1 said sport helmet not the fun cascade logo. I still love the video

NCAA made Gait D stick illegal because it had loops, but Cascade with sharp blade/fin in the rear is deemed safe... which serves no function.
