“The first episode of the Music Trilogy: No words”
álfa steritikó is a debut series of concerts performed by “Theodora’s Athanassiou Trio”. The concerts will be part of the live music events that will lead and add to the main performance, called “No Words”.
In this series of concerts, that were first presented in April 2018, there will not be many words to hear. Just one song. The rest will be pure notes… Instrumental music, mainly from original compositions.
álfa (άλφα) is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, hence a commencement .
steritiko (στερητικό) comes from the Greek verb: steroúmai (στερούμαι) which stands for being deprived of something or someone.
“álfa steritiko” is a greek prefix.
It’s the “un-” in the “Unkissed” ...
This is the inspiration behind this series of concerts that opened a music dialogue among the past and the present... the world and our inner world.
Η Συναυλία «Άλφα στερητικό»:
Η συναυλία που παρουσιάζει πρωτοεμφανιζόμενο, το Θεοδώρα Αθανασίου τρίο, αποτελεί το πρώτο μέρος μιας σειράς συναυλιών που θα ολοκληρώσουν αργότερα από καιρό μια μουσική τριλογία με τίτλο: “Xωρίς Λόγια”.
“Άλφα στερητικό”, είναι το όνομα της συναυλίας αυτής του πρώτου μέρους, που περιέχει λίγα λόγια, μόλις ένα τραγούδι.. Τα υπόλοιπα κομμάτια είναι οργανικές συνθέσεις στις οποίες το …μόνο λόγο έχει η μουσική. Τα περισσότερα από τα κομμάτια είναι πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις. “Α” όπως Αρχή ή έλλειψη που μεγαλώνει την Ανάγκη, ως αιτία επιθυμίας που δεν εκπληρώνεται ή όπως ανοιχτός κύκλος. Τρία όργανα, τρεις κόσμοι, ένας διάλογος.
