Became hooked on shaprening pencils the way you do, sir. I've sharpened them all without breaking one thank goodness. It's so meditative. Cannot wait to start the drawing phase and just lose myself in doing the work.
I am so glad you're doing these talks. It was just what I needed to hear in getting my day started. I will check back often for more. Please continue bringing us these words of inspiration. It is very helpful. Especially these days.
What a great wealth of information. I wil study "Mastery" to 'become an authentic artist seen as a spiritual journey.' I cant thank you for your generous sharing of your vast knowledge and wisdom.. If ever I can study at any place on the west coast it wil be in your Atelier.
The grey suits you Jeff, cheers for recommendation. The online course helped me tremendously, and now I find myself coming back to your videos to seek further wisdom.
+kilerden off the book , yes i guess so, a lot of vids off it but i don't find an audio book of it. Anyway, to Jeff- great videos you're doing here on youtube!!! presuming he's not so into the request i think wouter winter 2w comics should make a audiobook for the rest of us instead of jeff.
Hello, Jeff, these are amazing. You mentioned a podcast about scheduling your days. Have you made that already? Thanks a lot for all this valuable insights! Regards!
500th like! What about Flow by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi? I read Mastery by Robert Greene and wondering how it compares with George Leonard's Mastery. I'll have to watch this series.
+Jeff Watts well... it is kinda nonsensical to release book reviews : 1) in parts 2) in a span of potentially 5-7 month! Especially since you said you you wanted to review tons of them.
+WackySwacky What a kind comment to make, knowing that the artist will probably read it. Aging is part of life and it happens to everyone with no exception at all...
+WackySwacky sensi jeff is aging well and becoming smarter and more skilled as an artist daily in the Japanese culture usually one who grows his hair out is considered a master in his practices... i consider the pony tail on Jeff as a sign of his maturity and mastery of drawing and painting he is black belt now

best motivational speech I've run into, in a long time

Great new video! Always very impressed with what you do Jeff, and I like the look as well!
Thank you the bottom of my heart sir ,amazingly inspirational 🙏🙏🙏🙏👑👑👑👑
you're the best jeff

You should make a audiobook of it, so i can listen to it while working on the Watts assignments. Thanks for the review Jeff.
+Wouter Winter (2W Comics) You can find an audiobook version off the book here on youtube ;)

To mastery or when you speak of never reaching the final destination. That brings me great hope that as good as your life can be it can get better.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks!
Beard really suits you, man! Awesome review :)
great book! can't wait for the next part! I would suggest to you jeff even "mastery" from Robert Greene

where can I watch your podcast can still watch the one you did about picking school ?
+Vito Lucci Vito, if you go to my youtube channel you can join and all these are free. It is on our channel. Cheers.
could you do a video of your drybrushing techniques?
Although it is informative , i like your painting videos best.
Changing your style up eh Jeff? Could we be seeing a manbun in the future??
I studied Japanese. "Kaizen" is pronounced "kigh-zehn." You almost make a smile when you say "zehn."
When is part 2 coming ??
+Ye Ol rufus The overall review was about 3 hours so I will be releasing parts every few weeks. Cheers

Did Jeff suddenly age 20 years or is it just me?
+WackySwacky What a kind comment to make, knowing that the artist will probably read it. Aging is part of life and it happens to everyone with no exception at all...
+Wide000 cmon its not a mean comment. jeff himself will probably laugh when he reads it
+Wide000 ya it's just meant as a joke. The beard ages the guy like 10 years. Its a bit funny. The same thing happens to me when i dont shave.
***** Yes, probably. And as Wacky said, a beard makes anyone looks older, me included. :)
+WackySwacky sensi jeff is aging well and becoming smarter and more skilled as an artist daily

he is black belt now
Thanks!!!
Jeff is such a badass
Your hair!!!!!
I would if I could...
I swear his look changes with every video.
+Jack Smilyan get over it.... listen to his wisdom and past your preconceptions of his external looks... ridiculous, superficial comment
TheTroubadour1 haha you are right
the irony of you rejecting Jack's observation is that Jeff is a VISUAL artist.
he's an artist haha that's what we do
太唯心了
