Hello Jeff, Thank you for the advices (and assistance) about art training: as a student I guess what I took away mostly from your lessons and art talk is that humility is probably the best trait of an artist: most of us taking the online classes (often alone) value most your incredible skill levels but also your love of learning from and teaching other, and your empathy and charisma or your power to inspire us to be honest about our skills and expectations (probably your best teaching attribute). Best.
Jeff, thanks for taking the time to make these inspiring videos. I really needed to hear this message about Mastery because I'm at a crossroads in my own life trying to figure out if I'm cut out for the demands of Mastery in any one field. Perhaps I will always be somewhat of a jack of all trades, master of none.
I have found that, for me, plateaus are not 100%, or complete. Within the plateau, I may still see some small progress in a particular area, or I might produce a really nice project, then a sucky one, then a decent one, etc. So, even within the overall plateau, there is still an element of the unknown in how any particular project is going to turn out.
Truly a selfless person, and the ones who turned on u were just dicks. Any people with the right morals would appreciate what u've done for them and that's the right thing to do.
This is something that you did not have to do but myself and many others are truely thankful for this series....
