His mind is his best weapon. He is truly dialed in to every aspect of what is required of him. A very special player. Hints of Roger (uncanny instincts and deadly forehand + incredible improvisation skills), Rafa (also forehand + a grinders mentality, fearless), and Novak (better backhand, sliding abilities, rock solid under pressure. Overall such a complete player at 19yrs. Only the future will show the rest.

When Roger, Rafael, and Novak burst onto the ATP jungle, we all knew how unique and exceptional all 3 were. But Carlos is a mix of them all. He is just 19 and already recognized as a future great. His staggering ascent to #1 really is just the beginning of a stellar and solid rise. ❤🎉😊 And I shall not forget his appeal. Really works the crowd like a young legend. How can you look at this kidnandnshrug him off? No way😮

@@VladK181 there is a difference between the tournament itself and the "main event". The tournament itself is Indian Wells, much so like UFC 285 is the fight card. The "main event" however is used to define the main attraction or the most anticipated matchup of the contest itself. In UFC 285 the main event was Jones and Gane and, in OP's opinion, Alcaraz is the main event. No one needs to review expectations in life besides you.
