He runs at the limit of human performance using the maximum amount of stretch reflex a person can tolerate. Tearing ab muscles is nuts. I feel like as he gets older he will be riddled with injuries unless he can find a way to generate the high level of play while constructing his form and training for longevity.
no! He already adjust his forehand and its not so strong like previous tournament. he is more precised now on hitting ball and gving less stress on his wrist. he is not as tall as the big 3. and that makes his movement less luckily to injured plus he is more flexible than fede nadal
Nice job here mate. After watching Roger transform the game, I feared inwas in for a long drawn out drought for the next big thing. Then came along a killer wunderkind named Carlos Alcaraz. I am waiting no longer. Carlos is exactly the infusion of modern day power tennis and sheer natural gifts and creativity the sport is so often lacking. He has single handedly placed himself in the top tiers of the sport. His unrivaled extreme athleticism is a thing of raw beauty so very rarely seen. I fear the injuries, but hopefully his team can figure out how to keep him fit and healthy. The motivation is there by the tons. I would love to see an analysis of Carlos's young rivalry with Jannik Sinner. I feel Sinner is a huge threat for Carlos. He gets amped for their battles, and when both are on fire, Carlos can become agitated. I feel these two are the next big thing. Doesn't mean that another Federer and Nadal has begun, but a new and very different one has commenced.
That’s depends a bit on the quality of the matches. If they were all totally one sided then yes, that would be absolute dominance, or if it got to, say, Djokovic vs Monfils numbers. But they’ve been largely competitive, which is a good thing. The last thing tennis needs is a player who’s absolutely dominant. It’ll get pretty boring if the one player just cake-walks every tournament. If Tsitsipas were to pick up a couple of wins, which is possible, it could be an interesting rivalry.
Djokovic is still the best player in the world. You can pretend that he isn't if it makes you feel better, but until anyone topples him in the grand slams, he is still number one.
@@TheKingOfAmalek, no. Djokovic has the best record ever, wich is extraordinary, but in terms of sheer ability to play the game Alcaraz is by far better than him not only now, Novak having turned 35, but also when he was in his prime. Can Alcaraz get close to the feats Djokovic, Nadal or Federer have reached? Probably not (or maybe yes, we don't know yet), but the thing is Alcaraz has the best tennis skills we all have ever seen.
@@robert111k It's absolutely embarrassing that you said that Alcaraz, who only has one grand slam might I add, is more skilled than Djokovic. sinner makes any player struggles against him, as u can see he wins most of his matches sooo easy, i think because he hits with so much strengh and topspin he is also soo agressive and let's not forget his serve which he can hold for so long
@Ian Novak well, that was way before he became wayyyyy better than he was 6 months again, and just because i said he makes any player struggle against him dosen't mean he's gonna win every match he dosent lose easily
Three things that come to mind: a) Sinner just feels comfortable against Alcaraz, unlike against Medvedev. b) He returns very well against him(Alcaraz's serve is perfect for him), thus enabling him to get control of points. c) He can match Carlos's power shot for shot from the baseline and his backhand is probably even better. The pace of Carlos's ball suits him. He can keep the ball low even defending Alcaraz's shots, which draws errors from Carlos. It's a good match-up for him thus far and it would be even better, had he possessed better touch.
Hey clown, what happened to your so called goat? He hasn't been the same since Djokovic broke him mentally at Cincinnati. Meanwhile, Djokovic has won another tournament and is pretty much guaranteed the year end number one ranking. Alcaraz is not even close to Novak's level.
Get your eyes checked mate. I haven't forgotten your comment. "I have two eyes that work, Alcaraz is the greatest player to pick up a racquet" bla bla bla. Djokovic just gave that boy a tennis lesson again! The Wimbledon Final was the biggest fluke of all time. Alcaraz is nowhere near Djokovic's level.
I think your vids are great and produced brilliantly, but can I say often I feel like the information can be misleading. Minor detail but already in the first 30 seconds you say he pulls out of acapulco then later the australian open. Bautista Agut doesn't excel in clay courts. His best surface is hard. Being Spanish don't mean you excel on clay necessarily. In fact, most of the best Spanish players of late (Feli López, Verdasco, Carreño, Bautista...) don't excel on clay courts at all.
Pero en términos generales, en los países donde hay más pistas de tierra batida se entrena más tiempo en ese tipo de pista, y por eso los países mediterráneos y del sur de América destacan más en este tipo de superficies.
