If I had to guess, the reason why angstrom is targeting our mark is because he was there when he disfigured and all his scrambled memories make it so he doesn’t remember how it happened properly, and he may also be appalled by the fact the people in our mark’s dimension love invincible, and he probably thinks that this mark will turn evil like all the other ones and he wants to get rid of him so he doesn’t get the chance.

I can compare tom in no way home, and mark here. The stories are almost identical, something happens to Tom's family, he goes berserk. Something happens to Mark's family, he goes berserk. Sure aunt may died unlike Debbie, and tom didn't kill Norman, they are still very similar.
Mark is actually really strong he’s just so afraid of using his strength and becoming a viltrumite that holds back a lot. But he did win a few fights this season. He beat doc sizemec and the sea kaiju and he was holding back in those fights, but he holds back too much against maulers, and thula who he was about to beat but hesitated. Anissa is on a completely different level so him losing isn’t that big of an L.

I thought the guardians of the globe(is that their name. I only watched series 1 & 2 a few days ago yet I somehow forgot) were from the same universe but from the future and were sort of prepping mark a bit when telling him about the future.
They only told him hints of what the future is like, and when eve tells mark to tell her younger self he loves her or doesn’t love her, robot said(paraphrasing) “what did I say about messing with the space-time continuum” which would imply that eve didn’t get with mark in the future. I think they also mention how time travel was invented before they could dimension hop which is why he can go back in time.
So just to reiterate, I’m pretty sure the guardians of the globe we see take mark back to his time were the same universe guardians of the globe mark is from but from the future and they had time travel which allowed them to get mark into the past
