I thought the same thing. She’s proud of her and happy to be in the “background”. I saw a documentary that said Naomi gave Wynona a guitar to keep her busy and just wanted to see what would happen - low and behold she discovered she could play AND sing. They looked more like sisters. Naomi was the most beautiful person I think I’ve ever seen, and it’s because her joy radiated. I’m so sad for what happened.

Man this one stings. My dad loved these guys and thanks to him I know their music. I cried when I listened to this song cause it reminded me of easier times being a child and my dad was still here. Today I write with a Heavy Heart the Passing of Naomi Judd! One day after her passing today The Judd's were scheduled to be Inducted into The Country Music Hall of Fame! If you have read some of my results from the OMG play that I have posted on Facebook about me! It usually say's Benjamin has lived a Hard life! Benjamin has lived through thing's that would make a normal person just give up! Benjamin keep's Smiling even through his Pain! Although, many songs from the Judd's kept me going! During those difficult time's! It was this one "Love is Alive" that helped me the Most! I felt that as Long as I kept Loving! I was still Alive! And, therefore I never give up! Naomi Judd! I love you and forever will be Grateful to You! Who know's if without your music! I could have held on this long! Rip! 🎤🙏❤️🌹🌹🌹

It’s the absolute highest level of singing country music and her mothers harmony blends perfectly at the right times. Song is almost 40 years old and I have no doubt it’ll still be played in 40 more and admired by true country fans and others.

I love the judds. I changed the words when my son was born and sang love is a son and he's mine. His father had a band and i sang this at a knights of columbus celebration my babysitter was there with my son who couldnt walk yet but as i began this song screamed to be up there with me and he sang the chorus perfectly. He is 42 now and has never forgotten its our song. I hope he plays it for his kids. Whenever i hear this i know its what got me through living with that man because he gave me the best and i took my three babies and left. Love was always alive at our breakfast table from the day i looked into my sons eyes the first time. Thank you to the judds. Love is alive and hear by me!❤
