I had a special needs child and when he was still alive he loved me singing to him. He was limited on what he could do the only word he could say is Mama. The smile on your face let's me know that you need me.He loved music and I think of him evertime I listen to this song and I can see his face with that million dollar smile and him reaching up to touch my hand. I remember riding in the car with my mom, who has passed, and changing the radio to different stations hoping to hear this song. My poor mom must of had so much patience. It’s simply a great song.

I lost my Papa in on 1/02/2013 at 60. This was his favorite song. He introduced me to it in 2010. I loved it as well. We sang it together riding down the street sometimes, mostly though we just listened to it. I miss him terribly. I love you Papa. I miss you. I'll see you again when my time comes.

Yes she does! Reminds me of my girlfriend of 2 years who passed in 2007 from a heart attack. She was the only one who truly showed me just how much someone can love a person. This was one of the songs we first danced to she loved bluegrass. This song makes me think of her so much. I listened to her CDs almost constantly for 3-4 years straight, and never tired of compositions, the arrangements, the engineering, the mastering or production.
