Thank you sweets! The taters were good and leftovers for at least 3 days LOL..I got the seal for the gearbox and put it on myself. Got everything back together and fixin' to do some brush hoggin'..Love you!!
Did you get it fixed? Show video of it up and running, glad you took plenty of precautions to stay safe working on that thing, I have done that job and it can be hairy, not quite like working on a plow disc, etc,
Fred, I'm pretty sure I made a part 2, showing it up and running. I'll check and see if I uploaded it to youtube. Thanks for remarking. It turned out a little easier than I first thought. But nonetheless, you're right, safety is definitely my thing.
The one thing that I needed to find out (how to get belly pan off) is the part you omitted from your video.
So wholesome! I loved it!
Good video ! God Bless !!!
now that's what I call a real cowman!! and you are so handsome! I love you. I hope you got some good rest. and taters sound good!!! lol

+Jim Hamby I love you too Daddy. keep making vids. I love watching em
love the cow cameo!
How did u get blade cluster off
What brand bush hog do you have. I have one just like it that I need to replace the whole gearbox on.
It's a Big Bee brand. It is at least 30 years old. Haven't seen one on the market in years.
You start pricing that gearbox and you'll replace the seal
You're right. The only problem was the seal, so I replaced it. It was a breeze. I needed to sharpen the blades too, so it was worth all the trouble.
forget the seals just put cornhead grease in gearbox
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
