Clean the two blade bolts real good then add a coat of anti sieze to the bolt threads before assembly. That will make them easy to remove next time.

Excellent video Sherwood! I just picked up one of these 5' King Kutters off craigslist and was lookin to see where all the grease fittings are. This answered my question and more! After watching this, I am going to remove and check the blades, change the gear oil and drill those drain holes that you mentioned to keep standing water from collecting on it.

I own a 6' KK tiller and love it. I don't have a KK brand rotary cutter but you're not going to beat them for the money. My deceased uncle had one for many years and beat the ever living hell out of it from being careless because he just didn't care about his stuff. He's the reason I recommend King Kutter.

You never actually showed how you got them off? Are the nuts R or L hand thread etc?

I wasted my time watching this video, you never showed how to remove blades , you could have done this whole video in 3 minutes , just an honest observation

the problem with getting the nuts off the KingKutter from hole in top that in stead of using nylok nut or lock washer they tack welded the damm nut to pin so u have to take bump unit off and grind the weld before u can take nut off gouging the pin so when u put nut back on, u need to find a lock washer so nut doesn't come to gouge. Not a fun job!!!
