Wonderful execution of postures and fluidity of movements. At this slow pace he demonstrates perfect concentration, control and balance; yet everything is so relaxed and coordinated. He was definitely in the zone when he performed this form. Thank you for uploading this, it has reminded me of the value of performing the form at extra slow speed.
La velocità dell'esecuzione della forma taijiquan è a discrezione del maestro non dell'allievo. Ogni maestro sente la sua energia e adegua la propria mente ed il corpo allo spirito che sente in quel momento.🙏
The master Yang Wing Ming advice to practice very slowly sometime to gain control. The fa jing practice of course is good too but can be done internally too.
Tai Chi Chuan has been recognized by many master as the martial art of the noble warrior, the enemy that is more important to defeat is yourself, then to practice so slowly is very useful to feel all your internal problems, no? Thanks a lot for this video.
Yang cheng Fu did not teach the form this slowly and for good reason. You have lost the jin by being this slow. The entries set should take around twenty minutes to complete.
slow execution has its value .. this is not a teaching video or lesson ... having done 35 yr I am interested to see this performance . the rooting and balance is excellent practice in my opinion. I have done segments with the video opened new flow ... 20 min is a good usual practice time as you state.
Is nice to do the serie at different speeds, sometime I need to do it very slow and other times automatically I find myself doing it little faster. I think that if you know the jin sensation you can practice it no matter the speed of your execution. Is an internal martial art...
It is not a question of slow or fast. It is a question of "catching" the internal "wave" and letting it carry you. Doing something implies will (Zhi). Taiji should be practiced until there is no will.

Does anyone know where this was filmed?

Why master?

@@rich3419 yes, but with some few exceptions. If you're using it as meditation, that maybe influences the tempo, for me.
