Bri it really touched me when you mentioned loosing someone, and how you wished to brighten someone elses day. I lost my grandfather in August. He was basically my Daddy. I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. Your home looks amazing and you're such a sweet soul. Tfs

I would love to show you how we decorate but we wait until the end of November 😊 we decorate for Advent - our Christmas tree is actually the last piece wich comes in. It used to be tradition here in Germany that the "Christkind" brings/decorates the tree and we kids would see it the first time the night we celebrate (24th of December). But Christmas decor also stays until the end of January - so also 2 months of Christmas joy 😊 this year its the first time we celebrate as parents and in happy to have German - American (my husband) - traditions. 💛

We lost my father in law to cancer in August. We’re working on decorating now and getting into the holiday spirit. It sure is different this year.

I know that it’s still pretty early to be thinking about Christmas. However, I really want to decorate my room this year! So I made a deal with my mom and if I follow through with the deal then I’ll be able to decorate my room! So I’m currently trying to figure out what I want, all I know is that I want white lights for a warm look. Also, it amazes me that people actually have room in their bedrooms to have a separate tree, I’ve always lived in small houses.

Bri my covers don’t have ties and I just use small safety pins in each corner and one in the middle of the top and bottom to secure my duvets and it works great!
