- The Outer Worlds is the latest video game release from Obsidian Entertainment. The lovely people responsible for the Iconic and classic RPG game that is Fallout New Vegas. This game has definitely taken some creative inspiration from the fallout series and is getting dubbed Fallout in space by most reviews. So Today it is up to The Spiffing Brit and his love of anything with a Video Game Exploit to dive into the outer worlds and see if it is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits.Or if perhaps the infinite money glitch and item dupe / item duplication exploit might perhaps make the outer worlds not a perfectly balanced game.

They developers realized it wouldn't feel so nostalgic if it didn't have these exploits.
I honestly don't see why such exploits should be patched out. Its a singleplayer game and its something the player themselves has to consciously perform for it to have any real impact, so whats the problem? It just give the player more flexibility when playing the game, hell I am the type of person who might intentionally include a glitch like this specifically to allow the player the option of doing cheesy shit.
@@deamongimli It's all about how much time the player wants to invest. I most likely don't do these kinds of things because I just don't care to put in the effort really.
Kind of like if I wand a nude big tittied girl on Skyrim running around in Whiterun. I can put in a bunch of extra work outside of downloading a simple mod, or just not give a damn.
@@sik3xploit But... that's exactly why these things are good? They give the player the ability to skip grind by using an exploit to do something in 5 minutes that would otherwise take hours (At least).

Brits weren't perfect but they tried not to be total assholes. Also the technology was super helpful in Japan. @@MrPataka100 well I'm playing on a normal Xbox one and it just jitters every so often and has to load in enemy's and just freezes for a second or two but after I left edgewater to another planet lagged stopped

This kind of happened to tank mechanic simulator where Spiff found infinite, infinite money and Josh was killed by a demonic flying jeep. I feel like this is a pretty good insight into both their characters :p

Yep, doesn't work anymore. I am going start over and use the first perk on companion XP bonus. Seems to have the greatest benefit.

@@chubbysumo2230 Game is so tight getting extra money I have reverted to lockpicking and sneak which allows pickpocketing. Don't need the money if you can steal the item!
Edit: I was able to get it to work on console with caveats. Couldnt do weapons or parts for some reason. But it did work with mods. Assuming you saved before picking them up as well as after.
I did receive some glitches with large numbers though. Can’t drop more than 10 millions items.
And you cannot have more than 2 billion bits.

If it's on steam surely you can just choose which game patch you use
If you have the ps4 disc version, you can do this if you unhook the ps4 from the internet, install it directly from the disc (no updates :D )and start a new game.

hey spiff love your vids but have a habit of forgetting to like the vid before starting the next one. I am planning to make an epic day of liking all your vids. Best I can do since I am currently unemployed lol
Also I have an idea to break an apparently "unbreakable" aspect of Fallout 4. I am going to try several sneaky console commands during a time when you are still in the pod. If this actually works I should be able to "revive" Nora. As I understand it she is a normal NPC until you get refrozen at which point she gets turned into a scenery object.
If you are able to find a way to pull it off let me know. I don't think there's any point to it but people have been trying and failing so I figured you might like to take a crack at it.

...here let me show off one exploit, accidentally finds a second exploit. Good Job Spiff I think you've won exploiting
I’ve liked a subscribed out of fear of Chef. All hail Master Chef.
This is also doable on Supernova mode but it is a lot more time consuming because of the save and quick travel limitations. You drop stuff in Edgewater then quick travel to landing site and run back to Edgewater. Because you can only save on your ship and cannot drop items on your ship, the quick save trick does not work in Supernova. Also, while you're duping might as well double up on mag picks and shunts.
