I'll have to respectfully disagree, I see the point you're making, that the term "white rapper" refers to bad/basic/corny rappers that are white, and I get that Mac doesn't fit that description so he's not under this label "white rapper" even though he is literally a white dude who raps. I understand your point totally and I even agree with it to an extent, but where I don't agree is your use and view of the term, people straight up don't use the term "white rapper" that negatively or view it that negatively, I can see old heads and people who don't know a lot about hip hop prolly doing that but that's it, the reason is just because there's been plenty of white rappers who are genuinely good at the craft, Mac Miller of course, Eminem, Action Bronson, El-P, and Aesop Rock for example, love them or hate them, they have done a good job, I know there's the other side of the coin that fucking sucks, but they don't do enough to discredit the whole, this reminds me of that opinion people have that old 90's-00's rap is the best and everything after is mumble

Post Malone isn’t a white rapper but a rap singer kind of like Nate Dogg for example But Mac Miller is clearly a rapper just because his last two albums became bluesy and chill doesn’t not make him a rapper
He’s always had elements of other genres in his music. Secondly I’m talking about his impact on music and how he fits in with the culture as a whole and how he transcended that as detailed in the video you didn’t watch. Post Malone is very much so a white rapper. Nate dog is a rapper too. Just because he harmonizes doesn’t mean it’s not rap. And lastly the “last two albums” were the last 4 years(more if counting production) of that man’s life. Just because you listened to them quickly, doesn’t mean it was not a significant amount of time.
Seems like you listened but you didn’t hear it. Much like you did with the video. “White rapper” is in quotations. I’m not saying he wasn’t white and a rapper. I’m saying he doesn’t fit the “white rapper” mold. We’re not talking about if he raps or not

Would Dusty Springfield be another contender for Queen?
Possibly!
People seem to forget Mac miller is a corny white rapper though, like I genuinely (even at the time) thought his older shit was and is corny 😂 but I love Mac miller dude was the first artist I chose to listen to as an newly individual
I can respect that 🤣
can’t compare em mac clears anything jack harlow done jack a industry plant
Post Malone isn’t a white rapper but a rap singer kind of like Nate Dogg for example
But Mac Miller is clearly a rapper just because his last two albums became bluesy and chill doesn’t not make him a rapper
@@_FLWRS Drake has heavy R&B / Pop influence in his music but he’s still clearly a rapper
@@_FLWRS”listened to them quickly”? I’ve been listening to Mac since 2009 or 2010
Seems like you listened but you didn’t hear it. Much like you did with the video. “White rapper” is in quotations. I’m not saying he wasn’t white and a rapper. I’m saying he doesn’t fit the “white rapper” mold. We’re not talking about if he raps or not
Wow this was a great video!
Thanks for the love. im glad you enjoyed it
dope vid
Thanks for watching bro
Because he is Hebrew
best "frat rapper" ever
I’ll give him that
@@_FLWRS Asher was good too
Drake didn’t like Mac he just jumping on the bandwagon
But he is a white rapper.
You’re forgetting the quotations
W vid
i don’t consider jack harlow a rapper
that's crazy
Where's the lye
Why I consider Mac miller a white rapper: he’s white n a rapper 👍🏾
Makes sense but not the convo we’re having. He’s white but I’m saying he’s not lumped in with old Asher Roth and Macklemore for me. He 100 percent a Caucasian man
Jay z gave mac hes G pass
Nah the n word is definitely a bad word still. We must mature and set a standard. Mac definitely is a great artist but still a white rapper...
That word ain’t goin anywhere for a long time if ever so it is indeed better to take the power away from it. He’s white but he’s not in the conversation of “white rappers” for me like Macklemore and Asher Roth are. Hes still a white rapper to you
It's crazy how we as a people disrespect ourselves like no one else and then justify it just because we are to foolish and prideful...it's actually sad.
@@kuvf9816 that is your opinion that you can shout into your pillow. You don’t speak for everyone and you don’t have the divine knowledge to know what’s best for everyone.
I speak in reality you’re speaking in ideals
Wait, that guy was white?
Bc his last album wasnt a rap album
Eh kinda half and half. As much as IGOR was
lol imo jack harlow isnt that white of a white rapper
Justin b yes Justin t no he gives wanna be mj 😂 Jon b yes Robin yes Tina yess pink also before she switched lanes
Pink was that lady lol
like yeat
As a member of the white community I'd like to publicly declare that the black community may also have Jack Harlow.
Yours truly,
A white person
💀🤣
Noooo you can keep him ☺️☺️☺️😂😂😂
As a member of the black community we will take mac miller
he is a black rapper
Harlow seems to bite Mac so hard it’s annoying
What are you talking about?
@@lupstalopez4868 he sounds like Mac. It means he stole his flow and delivery
I get what you’re saying, but I’d also say that since he’s a Jew he really ain’t a white rapper to begin with.
I’m more so talking about “white rap” as a genre. Macklemore,Asher Roth, and most of jacks work.
@@_FLWRS yah I get that, I just think it’s important to make some separation… people lump Jews and white people which minimizes the Jewish reality and history which consists of being treated as none white and having a completely separate culture.
So just to be clear, “white rapper” just means “I dont accept this artist for many reasons, but the easiest one to point out is that he’s white”. Got it bruh lol
Aye if everyone else got a different conclusion than you. You probably did your math wrong 🤷🏾♂️ get your comprehension up. Cause I never said I don’t accept anyone. “White rapper” is in quotations for a reason. It’s more a genre than it is a describing factor
