During the Joyner x Logic beef one of my friends said about Logic: "Saying a bunch of nothing really fast doesn't mean good rapping.". Every time I've read lyrics of his after that he always came off as corny and wack to me. Every time Ive been recommended a Logic song it never scratched that itch. I think, putting Joyner Lucas as comparable to Tom MacDonald, is unreasonably cruel. He made the song I’m not racist and that deserves credit. Tom could never make something like that.

With the corniest guys, its because they take themselves seriously (step one) but get twisted up when other people dont (failed step two). I think a corny artist is fine, trust me I unironcally listen to Imagine Dragons and Nickelback. Sometimes corny music is fun to listen to, makes you feel good, but there's a limit!
