- Meesho: Only Profitable E-commerce Company in India?
All the Indian E-commerce Companies are losing money, be it Amazon India, Flipkart or Myntra.
Meesho is trying to change that by following a different model; instead of charging commissions from sellers, it's working on an ad-base model.
With this, it is also focussing on premium categories like Beauty and Fashion, and building it's own logistic fleet.

No, am an seller in meesho too now stopped selling on meeshoo.. Many selelers in ecommerce community hate to sell in meesho due their worst seller/customer support
Sir, I have some doubts in selling can I have talk with you ?
Yes
That's true
As a buyer... I too can confirm this
It's true
Me too. Exactly
Bro meesho looks sarojini of e-commerce😂
Fr
Its even worse than Sarojini
Is Sarojini bad?
Meesho is going to shut in the next few months bcoz they don't have money and no one wants to fund them.
Damn 💀what the guy said and this comment is so contradicting
Wonder what's the truth
Meesho become profitable by his reseller once meesho reached big revenue now they turned into b2c and getting loss 😂😂
@@goingon4992 do you have any idea from where meesho's revenue comes?
False info...go and get a life kid
At least make sure they delivery correct product
I am surprised to see so many negative comments. I had my doubts initially but I gave it a try and they do deliver online purchase requirements. Their customer service is also good. Yes I understand there are no branded products on their platform but it does fulfill their requirements. Other eCommerce companies like Flipkart and Amazon sell the same type of product but their prices are really higher comparatively.
True
And almost everything has free delivery unlike amazon.
I worked for a martech that was a vendor of Meesho's and I can tell you that they are a big mess! Their employees are extremely rude and are extremely disorganised. I am willing to bet that they'll go nowhere with that attitude.
Meesho menas local product, sometimes its cheap
All fake products on Meesho
Jaisa price waisa product
I ordered a t-shirt and got a blouse piece

Izzatly fake prouduct😢
bhai seller hi nahi hoga to kya sell karega. customer support jaisa kuch hai hi nahi meesho mai
Meesho has dug it's own grave. Its not going to sustain. Very bad customer service and seller support is worse. Customers are scamming the sellers and meesho is doing nothing about that. Meesho is dead
You mean sellers are scamming customers
@@vaishnoo1168 no customers are scamming brother
@@vaishnoo1168english nhi aati kya ? costumer ko chor bol raha hai kyoki costumer sachme ek number ke harami hai meesho par.
What do you mean customers are scamming sellers?
@@Hemant10241 absolutely yes.
My experience of buying on meesho has been great so far, I am very surprised by how affordable products are and how good quality they are, I hope this app continues and gets better with time
Logistics should be outsourced and meesho should concentrate on core business!
they are already outsourcing it
Meesho’s the worst platform from a manufacturer’s pov. I manufacture colour cosmetics & sold on meesho from late 2021 to mid 2022. Worst customer support, they couldn’t even tell how to do my regular gst billing in all those months. Moreover the returns on meesho are a horrible experience. I once got an order and i am not making this up from “Chhota Bheem” from an address in UP. I had to fulfill it whether i liked it or not, nevertheless the order was cancelled when it reached the customer’s doorstep.
With ecommerce, logistics plays a key role in the profitability. Simple things like who pays for returns can bloat up their bills and eat into their profits.
I dont think so. Because big brands had much more appetite to live on ads only. Logistics platform is another big mistake.
There is no USP in meesho business model
Myntra also work on inventory model
Finger crossed. Wish messho tieups with Indian post
Quality matters
Myntra has turned profitable recently.
They're all profitable just won't show it
@@abh1yan why won't they
@@smasher. tax "saving" if u know u know
@@dirtyph0nicsnot 'tax saving', its tax fraud
But they r looting too charging rs 10 as convince fees and fr COD charging extra 10rs, even Flipkart charging for open box delivery.
Yes, it will if the plan are executed in a perfect way as planned ❤❤
Meesho had fake sellers , no it wont sucess their customer responsive worst , which product you purchased from meesho
Meesho is online sarojini market, I think they shouldn't be converted into premium segment since people used to buy cheap items from that.
Press X to doubt.
X
At the podcast of nikhil kamath the CEO did told something similar
Meesho will not be profitable any more because he internal scam to the supplier regarding their compensation claims......
as someone who's run few ecom businesses can safely say Not only meesho will never be profitable, it will close down in few months as it has lost on both fronts of sellers & customers.
Profit aur India me 😂😂😂
Mesho is a scammer
So it's very indian then.
It's wrong. Amazon makes millions thru ads
Now I can proudly say that Meesho is the first e-shopping company in India to be profitable.
Just wait I'm coming soon bro
With my e-commerce brand
As a seller. I know Meesho is the worst platform to sell campared with all other platforms. Their support system is totally disgusting, do not respond to ticket in even 5-7 days sometimes. Supplier has no option left rather than wait for such a long time just to change the price of products. Rto and wrong returns is the other main issue. They do not care that customer send wrong or or defective product in return, do mot even provide claims for wrong defective return. sometimes 3rd party logistics do fraud and change the product.
Ha bhai aur suno 4RA ka May 17 Lottery pe bade gifts hai like Airpods aur merch sets hoodies t-shirts sab kuch ekdum top class maal
They try to do scam 😂😂
Myntra does high end products, runs a lot of ads for premium brands and via Flipkart has an in-house logistics as well. Meesho will have an even harder time to be profitable because of their tier-2 focus logistics in tier-2 is actually costlier than tier-1
What a Voice Impress
This channel is like bhai news reading ka new tech he kya... What do you think k aage to dekh
More like a pyramid scheme 😂
In amazon and flipkart there are ads.. In a country like India its so hard to build their only distribution network than on metro cities... Networks are growing year on year.
I didn't think meesho will grow high if how they are going now. Meesho is successful to build a brand identity but yet to create a brand value
Nahi ane wali .IPO ke thru loss cover karegi..
yas I thik soo
If the ads promote items which can be purchased from the app itself, it would be more usefull for both Consumers and Sellers. (Amazon already does this)
Meesho is going to be the next online sarojini nagar 💀
Wow
Every single e-commerce company is making money from ads. Not sure why you think they’re not?
bro roasted whole ecommerce players with first line🤣
Meesho charge to much from seller and seller got 80% product return to.
Noo no way because i didnt get a satisfied product quality from meesho i think amazon is much better than all other e com companies in india.
Meesho sucks ass I've ordered a Sweat shirt on it L size... The package came and it was M obviously didn't fit me and they had the nerve to put just a L sticker loosely on the shirt. The fun part is it was non returnable.
Irony is. I have no meesho app installed 🤣
Yes it will.
Pese mile hai bhai ko video bnane k liye
No
Worst customer service by meesho
Sorry bro, you might loose a few subscribers such as me for spreading fake news. Meesho is running a scam and has cheated over thousands of sellers. I heard some seller was forced to do suicide because Meesho scammed him saying they will pay but then they did not. I personally have faced Meesho’s seller support as the worst and their policies are stupid. If Meesho survives another 2-3 years, I’ll say it’s a miracle.
that is not bad idea but the need huge money if they want to have their own logistic
I think so 😃😄
But meesho is cheating with Return procedures. They don’t ask about sellers wrong return, until or unless we purchase their cover.
Bro y don't u think about ofline market can u please do something on it bro
Sometimes this guy says all this ecommerce is loss including mesho, now he says this.
I never worked on many ideas just because they had something to do with logistics.
Logistics can eat any business out alive.
Ads to sell is a traditional approach. Only so much of ads will do the market. Rest is hard work. Each operation is vital. They need to rethink of their model. Own logistic network will work only with volume business.
Source kya he information ka
Too many fake returns on flipkart and meesho.
I am a seller and i started a new brand of data cables and costumers change product and return them.
We seller get charges RTO fees which is generally higher than our original price and then we also dont get SPF claims.
Some costumers are frauds and they eat up all our profits.
Amazon makes profit by selling goods by their own sister concerns
Rest all makes sense but still I guess the logistic might burn the profits, or too soon to start everything all together once see some cash balance with advertising then moving on to logistics may give a little more safe room but I’m sure they must be having some good plan
Best luck team meesho
Lets go bust😎😎
I had ordered 1550₹ velvet saree and I got a used synthetic saree picked from 🗑️ dustbin and the delivery boy refused to take the item and they didn't refund,, totally fraud app😡😭
Meesho meesho nananananana
Saala yeh gaana dimag se kab niklega pata nahi 😂😂😂
I am inrested meshoo frenchies
Meesho is looting money from sellers, all the sellers are quitting
i saw a beauty cream that claimed , it helps in weight loss🙄. they include pictures too. like why would i trust it for any quality purchases.
First
What are the other aiming for 😂? I think you meant immediate profits.
10 Lakhs ka bada prize hai bhai 4RABT lottery mein sirf ek winner but chance tho everyone ko milna chahiye na
Full case study on this
Does anyone loss money from meesho? I have topup to the merchant vip throug Telegram and to get 10k comission… but didn’t receive any money😢
I am meesho seller .
It is not good he spent money without my consent meesho special 40,000 in week on ad and I can't do anything. all seller note like meesho becomes fake order.
I don't understand how these companies survive without being profitable?
I think it will be difficult for them
Sir how much an ecommerce company's owner earn in one month for example owner of meesho owner of flipkart how much they earn in one month??
American companies (incl Flipkart which is now owned by Wal-Mart) intentionally go into loss (by purchasing other companies or assets) so they don't have to pay taxes. A great example to see through this facade of theirs is to look at their stock prices. They keep on increasing despite these companies making losses. PayTM has also followed the same model. Ever since going public the company has yet to make a profit but they won't anytime soon because then they will be taxed on that. If you make profits you pay tax on them. If you're in loss you don't have to pay tax and everyone knows how horrible the tax policies are in India...
seller customer ka kaat rha h aur customer seller ka kaat rha h, aise kaise meesho chlega?
Lol. Meesho generate fake orders and harm sellers financially. They are acting like parasite .
Two cents here:
1. Other ecoms are also making huge money from ads... The sellers operating on Meesho done have those budgets.
2. The ASP of Meesho is too low to justify ad spends for small sellers.
Delivery to meesho se time se hoti nahi kya profits bnayegi
I cannot believe that aiming to become profitable has become a special thing. Aren't companies supposed to earn money through their business? That is what profitable means right?
Nykka is making right
Well all are profitable just meesho don't know how to manage tax
As an user... Bakwas app.... Worst service. Used just for 15 days to order a product which never got delivered and they said at the end that the order got cancelled. If such a good service provider like Amazon couldn't get profitable, how can Meesho with such service and product get profitable.
My personal opinion, rest anything can happen.
Amazon is rich and flipkart and walmart support so, they don't have to worry about money
So the Ads is the new name for commission in Meesho. I register as a seller and list my products. Now in that crowd of sellers my products won't even appear in organic search results even for the god. So whoever pays for Ads, their products only appear on search results. So no commission is a fallacy. The commission is going in the Ads route.
This video is not telling the truth, Amazon, FK and Myntra, all of them have sponsored products. It’s not like Messho doing differently. One more thing is about platform perception, Meesho placed itself at low price segment, people still feel that they won’t purchase from Meesho, infact someone who earns more will feel discomfort telling to his friends about his purchase from Meesho.
No
Don't try anything to sell in India export is game changer 😊
Meesho is trying to do what no other e commerce in India has done yet..
Its aiming to become profitable...💀💀
Is it part of meesho marketing?
No matter what they do , they are destined to fail because of bad business model & worst customer support
1 major point is all products are COD AVAILABLE
You are wrong there is brand called Hi Shopping and they are focusing on same thing. You should not only cover companies like Flipkart, Amazon, etc who have large recognition, you should focus on small growing companies also.
And guess what Hi Shopping is already profitable with more than 2million+ Deliverys completed.
Not easy making profits in a country where scamming is the order of the day.
Amazon is smiling in the corner.
As if anyone is buying chutya products from meesho. Also the ad thing exists in both Amazon and flipkart since inception probably
