Thank you, Mad, very nice review indeed. I was eager to hear what your thoughts were on the BR03. Same as I did, you noted an excess of energy on the top. Your choice of amps obviously made it easier to listen to, but if you're using an energetic amp, it becomes too much. This is the case with my Atoll IN100 Signature amp paired with the BR03 - I get a great tone, but too much energy on the top ruins the experience a bit. So, really great little speakers, but one has to be cautious of the amp pairing. A neutral amp will do wanders with the BR03. A "lively" amp will ruin the experience.

@Mad Audio I was talking to some owners of both IN100 and the IN200, and was told that the tonalities are different in those two amps. Of course, the IN200 should be a beast ;)
Br03 has an energetic perhaps boost up HF which on certain female singers songs can be sibilant ( Nathalie Merchant “Seven deadly Sins”) all depending on the amplification used in my case an Adcom 555 II with a quicksilver audio tube preamp. If only I could put the project box 5 tweeter into the triangle be amazing. But unlike the speaker box5 the triangle can really fill up my large space better especially in the lower mids, just beefier On the other hand the 5 is quite magical on female vocals tonality,last time I heard a similar tweeter texture was from a pair of older audio physics tempo speakers and vintage Sony SSM3. In the end amplification matching is still the name of this game. Both speakers are more than worth the money. Btw: I like your accurate reviewing style👍🏼
Btw I came across an interesting article with measurement of the Triangle br03. Apparently with grills on it only reduces the tweeters output by -2db to smooth out the hf which helps out my dryish sounding adcom amp. Maybe others could try it. Downside?: can’t stare at pretty white mid/woofer anymore😃
For the BR02 at least, I do agree that the treble sounds weak despite people claiming the borea speakers to be bright. Particularly, some of the high frequency layers sound too mute or suppressed.
Thank you Mad Audio! Can you mention the amplifier you used besides the Rotel and Cambridge with the BR03? Can you also suggest a small subwoofer that will tonaly and timbre-wise match with the these speakers? I found useful information from your review about these speakers 👍

I usually find that when subs and satellites don't belong to the same company and product line, they don't sound very coherent because they have different timbre and attack-decay character and dynamism, so I specifically asked for something that matches. It is sometimes a little difficult to pick up on your accent, but I still like watching how you describe all the gear.

The other amp was the Pro-ject MaiA S3, as subwoofer the SVS3000 Micro is a great match, both reviews available on my channel.thx for watching✌🏾
