Guilford College Trail - Greensboro, NC

The Guilford College Trail System is located in the historically significant New Garden/Guilford College community in Greensboro, NC. This beloved pathway winds through the old-growth forest that was once known as the New Garden Woods. The trail serves not only as a recreational area but also holds deep historical significance, as it was part of the Underground Railroad network during the 19th century. There are numerous trails throughout the wooded area, and we explored the loop trail (1.8 Miles) that runs along the outer boundaries. The best parking lot for accessing the trail is located off Bennington Drive.
