Louise, standing ovations to you for your explanation on stolen dies and giving credit where due. I’ve been using ILAS and KOKO for a long while now and I’ve always been happy with their dies. Reputation is everything in your business and the companies you work with. I have always believed that you are above board and shame to those who bash without having ALL the information. They THINK they know but they don’t. You have a happy viewer in me for as long as you make your videos which I hope is a long, long time.
Thank you so much for your support - it means a lot. It's such a tricky one, as ILAS are saying all the right things, and so it's difficult to work out what to do next. And as I said briefly in the livestream - it's a moral dilemma as companies like Aldi and Lidl sell loads of copycat items - that people buy regularly without a thought - but actually it's the same thing! I'll have to have a think about how I'm going to proceed.
@ as long as ILAS DO what they say then all should be good. The bad eggs are those that say, then do the opposite or nothing at all. Actions will speak louder than words…always.
I absolutely love your cards and so sorry about the troubles. I am in B.C. Canada and I was so happy to be able to get your Cherry Blossom paper on Amazon ( had in 2 days). I was very happy with the paper and a friend came for Christmas ( 23rd December to January 04) and we crafted most of the time doing your cards And had a wonderful time……I always give credit for your designs. They are absolutely fabulous……I wish I could get some of your glues but make do with what I can get……going to try this card in a few days…..will have to order this paper first…….thank you for your hard work
@@barbaramckenney5946 Thank you so much! Your comment made my day. It's so lovely to hear that you and your friend crafted together and I'm so glad that the Amazon pad came so quickly! That's fabulous. I'm hoping to have some more pads up on Amazon soon. 😊😊😊
Hi Louise, I live in Canada, and the glue I use is made in England by Creative Expressions. It's an acrylic glue called Cosmic Shimmer Specialty Acrylic Glue. I've tried lots of different ones and I always come back to it. It's a little expensive, but well worth it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cards. I have cased your designs and sometimes switched a few things, but everyone I give them to absolutely LOVES them as well. I always mention where I get the design from, because let’s face I don’t have your talent to just think of something so beautiful and be able to make it into a design.
@@icedimages I have been watching your videos for a time now but it is usually the replays because I don’t catch your lives….time period differences… I have noticed that you always give shout outs to cards if you get or make from another card crafter. That is so very respectful. I am waiting to hear a reply back from a quite popular SU demonstrator in the US, who I sometimes follow…because she made a card of yours and Sam’s and never once mentioned either of your names as the designers. She makes her followers think it is her design, however I know it is not because it is a card I cased from Sam Calcutt and then did your switched up version also. You mentioned you got the original design from Mixed Up Crafts (Sam Calcutt). When using SU papers and if you sell a card using their papers you are supposed to advertise that it is their papers that you used , so why does this million dollar sale demonstrator think it is ok to case someone else’s design and not mention who they are casing. You and Sam always do and your followers appreciate your honesty, just like you said in this video with the die that was actually copied from Simon Says and yet you have no control over that. What you said and did with In Love Arts was very remarkable and trustworthy to your viewers. Appreciate your methods. 💕 from Canada 🇨🇦 Keep up the great work. I love your cards and tutorials.

Hi Louise, thank you so much for this lovely inspiration 😍 I'm glad I came across your video today and heard your thoughts on the topic and for a minute it was like I would hear my own thoughts too. It is very hard for small creators who are not working with the "big" crafting industry to meet our ends... Affiliate collaborations are sometimes the last straw which keeps us hanging here and continuing our journey with UA-cam and crafts. I'm trying to give credit to the design originator whenever I can but if I ever used anything of your ideas without crediting them back to you it wasn't on purpose but a lack of knowledge so I'm so sorry for that. There are so many designs out there that it is hard to keep up with what is designed by who... Thank you once again for the lovely inspiration and great chitchat.
