Thanks Kate for the tutorial! On alignment: if you keep pressed the Shift key while moving any object - at least with texts and images worked for me - it can maintain/lock orthogonality as in Revit. It came quite handy to me when wanting to keep objects properly aligned. Hope this helps guys, you can do it🙂👏👏👏👏

I'm a 68 year old senior who needs to learn to use this for work, and have saved this video to watch again a 2nd (and maybe 3rd) time. I might even be able to play around with it to use it on a Facebook page on which I am an Admin.
Hello Kate. The reason this tutorial is to fast is because she has to edit to have the video just for 20 minutes. There is no pauses. Mi recommendation is to listen several times, I did that and worked for me. Thanks you for your efforts and work in pauses. Thanks a lot
Canva is undeniably the go-to choice for beginners and those looking for an intuitive design tool. Have you had the chance to explore alternative design tools apart from Canva?
We have but we just love Canva so much. We won’t rule out exploring some other design tools on our UA-cam channel (and have a bit) but for now Canva is our main focus when creating digital products.
I've tried several Canva tutorials since learning about Canva and yours is the easiest to follow. I am going to go through this video again and take notes. I expect I'll be signing up for your course for further insight.
So glad you enjoyed it! Definitely watch the digital product masterclass (linked in the video description)- it’s a great way to learn about the course!

I have tried canva before, however, cease using it as I am unable to understand the process. I am going to watch more of your videos, moving forward. Thank you for sharing.
Gonna be assistant teaching a little class on video production--the teacher's the real pro but I'm watching this so I can be a bit more knowledgable on the software. Nice little tutorial, program seems really accessible, thanks 👍👍
WOW! Brilliant tutorial, thank you Kate! Easy to follow, fast pace. I am very new to Canva (not computers) and this was so helpful. Going to look at some more of your tutorials as I am wanting to create a family tree poster using a Canva template I have found. 🤩
Thankyou!!! I especially appreciate the speed at which you moved through your presentation. You did not move too fast but at speed which enabled me to follow you easily. I am going to be using Canva to create Instagram posts for my audience of construction contractors. Each post will include a photo and a mini-article of 100 to 200 words. My model for that sort of post is the Journal of Light Construction. Your tutorial is going to enable me to create photos for the posts. I am hopeful that I can just add the mini articles using Instagram captions. for longer text is not something. you go into. If you care to let me know in a reply whether I am on the right track, I would appreciate that.
THANK YOU!!! I've just got my 30 Canva trial & tried one small photo & I failed terribly. I was just thinking, I'm never going to get this. I look forward to seeing what else you have.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I'd been trying to figure out frames for months. I didn't know how to use them before now, AND I didn't know I could change the quality when I saved, so thanks again.

Great class! What I also noticed that your voice was a continuous sound - no breaks for breath intakes or pauses with ums or hesitations. Are you naturally a speaker like this, or do you record in bits and bring together. It was a neat style. Thank you!
This is fantastic, as you have explained it so well. Also, this isn't too long, so that while I am now trying to learn how to use Canva, I can keep referring back to your video here, and it won't take too long to get to what I want to refresh about. Thank you so much. New subscriber here.
I really like the visuals and while I’ve been online for a bit and familiar with virtual learning, I do agree with a few on how the pace you are sharing at is a bit faster than a beginner tutorial would be for those first becoming familiar with the canvas product, especially those with a kinesthetic learning style as their dominant - in which things are absorbed aka hands on vs visual or audio dominant. I did start and stop the video to write down the steps, but wanted to offer feedback on the variables of learning styles for future reference since you are sharing about offering a tutorial.
