I'm still using my father's HMT Kohinoor. Bought in 1978. Still works smoothly.

HMT museum at Jalahalli Bangalore houses all HMT watches ever made.
I was awestruck when I went into the watche house. Some of the watches were were outstanding while several others were ripoff/copied.
There's a showcase which houses it's premium mechanical watches & easily, it could put some of the best ones to shame.
I felt proud when I went there and bought one for my mother.
She ised to have a HMT when I was a kid. I used to wound my Grandfather's HMT when he used to go out to work.
So many memories got alive!
HMT Kohinoor as a template is beautiful and if we glance thro the website, lots of designs in Kohinoor mesmerizes especially the Kannada numerical series ones or the amarnath yatra series of watches.....
Good that HMT is able to bring its best now and all the models are amazing.
I bought the maroon color dial watch from HMT showroom and did see that green one was also available much in demand, now lots of options - blue, saffron etc
Thanks to youtubers like you because of whom we youth got a chance to know about our own Indian legendary watch brand. ❤️

Hey @Anonymous Guruji.. You will be able to swap the screwdown caseback with HMT watches. Try to put transparent caseback on Kohinoor or Pilot. Both deserves the tbc more than Saathi. I have Pilot green sunburst dial.. with aftermarket transparent caseback.

Hello Bro, i am planning to get Tissot everytime swissmatic at 19k with automatic movement, sapphire glass. Is it a good deal? I recently got Seiko Presage Cocktail time brown dial at 40k which i think was a good deal.
Nope don’t get swissmatic. I wasted my money on it without researching the movement. It has a non-serviceable machine made movement. It has no screws to disassemble. When the movement goes bad, you replace whole movement. Buy presage.. value for money
@@ஓம்நமசிவாய-ட9வ it has factory laser treated balance wheel , so the limitation in setting the accuracy of balance wheel while service , not the complete machine (movement).
