Many skill level are increase beyond their original level.
In this 3rd video in breakthrough series I will show the potential of Paladin Heal Ragnarok Mobile Tank & Support Build.
This is also my 1st video about paladin tank ragnarok mobile.
It still far from optimal build, but I hope it's enough to give you the big picture about the potential of Paladin heal after breakthrough.
This video also show build, skill, stat, rune, and equipment that I use to reach the certain Heal number. But the emphasis is on the skill & effect mechanic.
And also how to use the build in Endless Tower (ET 90 tank vs Time Holder).

I think I will make the lighter version of these topic with more emphasis on how to prioritizing zenny spending on this build.
This build is not always follow the most efficient way to increase heal.
Later, my end game Royal Guard build will revolve a lot around healing & damage reduction, so this is some preparation for planning those RG build.
However I found it quite fun to play so I decide to share it.

Personally I only hunt rideword for monster resistance or if I need brigand. I also never hold my base exp even drink all my xp pot.
Yup, the hardest thing to be paladin is juggling between tanking and farming, before Ymir it's nightmare, I rely on food a lot.
IMHO just play what you enjoy, what's the point of playing if we can't enjoy it right.

I am also a Paladin with a hybrid gear of healing and regular tank since normally I'm Grand Cross type, so I figured I would try a Healing / Devotion Tank style.
And with your video, I have found a lot more opportunity to maximize my healing much further.
Even though I don't have a Dying Recovery rune yet, stacking Self Heal and Healing Receive really prove me a satisfying result so far.
With HP in my party, tanking any MVP is very easy. And without HP, I can manage to both tanks and support my friend's farming alt till 70F of ET. (They are mostly Whitesmiths with one LK)
Haven't try non-HP Tank at 80F / 90F yet since I still lack Dying Recovery Rune.
But with your guideline, I felt very happy to know that the path I took has the potential to become much more viable than I first thought!
And btw, Lv15 Increase Recuperative Power also help me a lot too.
Since I have 100k HP, each White Potion would heal me around 3700HP. So its also help to increase my recovery per sec even further more.
Hi mate, thanks for sharing your story. ET 80 & 90 is not that hard even without DR rune, you should tried it. Some combination like Dark Lord + Time Holder maybe quite difficult especially when you in high ping/don't have decent DPS, but it's still possible.

Since you have to use the Sealed Lady card in you Headwear, do you put the Stay Calm skill in your auto skill bar in order to use Panaceas automatically or it does not work ?

How useful is paladin / royal guard there in CN server atm or in the future?
I was a paladin (90/37) and i realize this things so i switched to LK, i hope im right :
1. Paladin is not necessary for tanking at ET anymore (even now) If u know where to stand/stay alert ,LK and other DpS can do both tanking and killing
2.royal guards damage is so underwhelming compared to other classes, since everyone will be busy about who can kill mvp faster, who needs tank?
3.Even at WoE, all i saw was rune knight bash and shadow caster casting mana trap (black thingie, cmiiw).
So..what are royal guards doing at CN server? Thank you
If you play some MMORPG without agro (taunt) mechanism, there's a archetype called bunker (a variant of tank). It purpose is guarding a place/objective and create certain degree of 'sanctuary'/safe place for their teammates. This is what I aim for my RG, moving bunker.
RG has AoE heal that 4-6 times more powerful than heal.
if my calculation is correct it could reach 270k+ dying recovery selfheal, and 50-70 K heal for other teammates. (good for countering mana trap)
Of course we need to combine it with good amount of damage reduction.
Or we can combine this with devotion and use terrain advantage so our dps can guard certain point or advance.
I think RG has tons of potentials but not by any means technically easy to execute, RG also need good open minded teamwork and lots of tactical trial and error.
Things that need improvement in RG IMHO, is not damage nor heal, but debuff resistance (if possible can be transferred via devotion). Or maybe other significant damage reduction AoE that has 100% uptime.
But that just my 2cent, above all i just love playing tanky character

Hey there, AMAZING video btw. I have a huge pressing question:
Currently there's two schools of thought on tanking -
1) just stack hp and let kyrie/res keep you alive. This is easy on the equipment and simple for the healer as well.
2) your method of stacking healing and using devo to psuedo tank, or just straight tanking with high heals
Whats the current meta in ET and the effectiveness of each approach, and which one is viable long term? (into future patches with 2nd trans job)
Very good question, waiting for the answers too. Most tanks in my channel is the first one. Havent met the 2nd one beside myself. The 1st will go to garman+imperial+staunch manteau+sandals i think to be tankier than goibset, also will be dependant on High Priest.
I chose the 2nd path as full support after seeing this video just because it's surprisingly effective (even with my half assed equip, i can only do half of the capacity of this build from this video and it's better than goibset, you can kill every mini on field with only one fairly good dps teammate) and can reduce the stressload of priest.
hopefully can tank without priest (just because it's hard to find a good one) if the equipment is ready. It's futureproof, RG skills really complement full support build.

Personally I just want to describe the mechanic behind the skill. What best/viable long term is depends on our play style and build goal/purpose.
My RG will be full support so max HP won't be my first priority. Not because it's not important, but because it already naturally big for Paladin. Even on my full heal build I just go 99 VIT & with some buff can reach 110K HP, if I add meta ant card+ferus+peco card & invest some in HP (prayer, rune, etc), 150-160K HP is easily reachable even on full healing build.
However don't get me wrong, the most important things for support character is staying alive, so my first priority is not healing but Dmg. Reduc & MDmg Reduc.
Dmg. Reduc & MDmg Reduc maybe is the ultimate defensive stat. It's very hard to get to considerable amount, but also very hard to counter (maybe only penetration?).
And it's also equal to both max HP & healing bonus stat, because if we have 50% damage reduction, technically our HP & healing is x 2; and if 75% dmg reduc = HP & Healing x 4.
Without enough dmg reduc, dying recovery heal wont matter because many ppl/MVP can 1 hit us when our HP is still above 30%.
Healing is my second priority & Max HP is my third priority.
But that's my priority according to my build purpose & my current knowledge. Different people, play style, knowledge, & build purpose will also have different priority. I think that's what makes this game interesting.
As for ET, I think the easiest way is pseudotanking with HW/LK/Champ. Even with cheap heal gear & regular 4000-5000 heal you can easily survive most ET 90 combination without priest.
The big HP is good, but personally I don't invest HP gear & card for my RG (maybe only ferus), so it's not efficient investment for me.

Is this better for tanking than just a pure tank build? Seems more versatile which is what I want to aim for. Also, if I'm making a LPA from Mithril Metal Armor, shoudl I be trying to get +10 refine before I upgrade?
Hi,
In ideal condition, pure healing is not that good, in PvE we will have High Priest that will heal us 2-3 times our amount (ideally). in PvP/GvG without proper damage reduc/ele reduc/racial reduc and debuff resistance, even 50k heal won't be sufficient for 1v1 against decent dps.
Balancing and being adaptive to the situation is the key. If the goals is being versatile (GvG), I suggest to aim for the dmg&m.dmg reduc first, next debuff resistance (at least against stun, freeze, fear, & stone,, we can use panacea for poison & silence), and healing after that.
What make my first showcase (10:24) easy is the Champ & HW dmg reduc. The total healing item that I use is not more than 3 mio z in those scenes: rune shoes, +5 sacred mission, rideword card, int ring x 2, basic enchant for +12 INT, lance. No enhance & refine except for sacred mission.
In the next update LPA will have +5% & +10% healing received at +5 & +10, so I recommend to get at least +12 in mithril.
Personally I will go + 12 mithirl, but also buying plain LPA for now, it could be use for slotting material later.
Thank you for the detailed response, this is really helpful. Right now I mostly do solo, except for tanking ET. My paladin doesn't have good enough damage to help out in boss hunts, and most people just bring Creators to tank and damage and LKs with healing slaves that spam revive, they don't really want tanks. Even some creators I know can carry all 1-90 in ET without a tank, so I hope things really turn around after GvG. Support tank seems the most useful way to play paladin in later content...

That's correct, actually the 100 hidden heal bonus is from the first aid skill.

will changing the staunch ring to int earring gonna add some more since it will give you 10 int in total or staunch ring is still best on this build? thanks..
It depends on how much the current INT & healing received. When your INT & level is high, the staunch will be better, and vice versa. We also need to consider that RG has heal that based on VIT. Staunch ring affect both, INT only affect heal.

Hi mate! My equip for farming still mostly the same, the improvement is minor: weapon enhance level, windperch drake, deviruchi pet, some more atk rune, prayer, deposit.
Even the enchant is still exactly the same with my 2nd vid lol XD.
I think cookie & carat already the most challenging farming monster so far, and the current material market price 'suggest' us to farm in even easier mob thanthem.
So I still not invest more on my SC build. Maybe save for hydra card for PvP is on my next todo list to improve my SC build.

Usually I just stop as long as I got my atk enchantment because currently I'm saving mora coin for my end game equipment (aim for dmg reduce & healing enchant)

Ran STN this morning without a priest and i can keep everyone hp pool.
I am one half assed pally who likes to have gears for any kinds of build. I know this make me weak but it's fun and gives me lot of options. Like saves me time grandcrossing injuscramp to rush jlv instead of running around for punks/orc lady (i can 1 hit but i don't like too many competitions)
Can you gives us any insight on any kinds of royal guard builds? Both viable and weird (shunned?) farming and tanking builds?
What i know from little information is, SC is still viable, SB+earth drive, and i would like to know about overbrand. TIA.

For RG I personally go full tank in term of investment. Since my goals is create (or at least concept) hardest char to kill and has 100% support uptime to my teammates/guild.
Focus on: VIT & INT, all Healing bonus & enchantment, all DMG Reduc & M DMG Reduc bonus & enchantment, however it would need tons of zenny/$ or tons of luck especially with the enchantment.
The theoretical possible of DMG Reduc is around 150% & M DMG Reduc is around 140% in eps 5, and we still can have around 70% healing received & 50% healing increase.
Still need to test how DMG Reduc capped/worked and what ignore/counter them (penetration?refined?), but I still don't have resource & time lol.
The main skill is Gospel (aim to reach around 50-70k normal gospel, 150-200k dying recovery Gospel), and other full support (inc. heal, aim to reach 15-20k normal heal).
The concept is create 'moving fountain' (DOTA's kind of fountain lol) the role is either bunker to guard a certain point or become rally point to provide space/sanctuary for teammates to either escape/advance.

Around 50-60k contri and 120-130 gold medal in this vid.
Will need around 200 gold medal to reach 28.8k Heal with the same equip.
and maybe 300 gold medal for full tank including devotion & taunt rune Lol

Tergantung dari stat saat ini bro, yang rendah yang mana. Kalo INTnya masi rendah enakan INT ring, kalo uda tinggi enakan staunch ring, sebaliknya kalo total healing rec nya uda ketinggian, bisa balik lagi INT ring lebih enak.

i have a question what if i use EOD or OG as is this ok? to increase matk for heal?
The heal is based on INT only, Matk is not affect heal at all
just a wild thought, Since heal is influenced by Holy Dmg....
Im thinking, what if you use evil druid card (undead property) then heal yourself...
would it double the amount of heal? (since holy dmg is 2x vs undead) or it would hurt you instead?

Sadly no, heal can harm the undead element, but if you use it to yourself your heal will become only 1.
Any other wild thought will be appreciated I will try it if I have the budget XD.

wkwkwkwk, actually when first time I test it I have mixed feeling between WOW its 9.6K and damn It almost reach 10K!
However to reach 10K I need either (1) give up my free player challenge for gacha healing gear, or (2) sacrifice my mora saving for my non end game equipment, or (3) pay 20-30 Mio Zenny for +10 INT equipment.
So I decide to stop at that number.
I've tried it with several potion but it doesn't increase with healing received.
Goro heal at other hand is increased along with higher healing received.

About the magnum break, still not test it yet, personally I'll go staunch for the garment for neutral resist, since other element will be quite easy to reduce through certain equipment. Even so, garment is the most flexible equipment in my end game RG bunker build.

sadly no, the holy damage also won't affect battle chant
The rune for retribution also increase the heal but not worth it because it adds a so little
Ah, equivalent to 1% holy damage per rune isn't it? That's not bad at all, similar to priest's rune nodes. Thank you for mentioning this.

Maybe, it has potential for auto farm with GC & Sacri.
If we put heal in our auto slot it will start to heal when our HP/teammates HP below 80% until it above 80%.

i think m.atk also effect heal.. remember my guild hp buying orlean glove..
Tht one for leveling, using jud, m. Atk doesn't effect healing

The wing double heal is for priest branch only. So you will not get 120k heal.
Hong Lee I think he means that when a priest who heals him equip that wing, dying recovery effect will give him crit heal that much. Since the priest has 15% chance double heal. Cmiiw

Kalo HP regen kayaknya yang regen biasa itu bro, bukan heal, kan ada itu stat hp regen kalo kita buka di kolom stat kita
