Yeah them tanks are a nightmare. It’s that horrible foam used top and bottom to stop vibrations and hold the tanks in tight. This foam also has the habit to hold moisture very well. It’s just a huge sponge. I managed to get my tanks repaired, with new plates of steel and using POR 15 kit sealing kit. I used gym mat and open rubber door mat replacing the horrible foam. I think your tanks are too far gone for repairs though. Keep going…

Yeah, mine are toast. Boyd's makes replacements I'll likely end of buying.
