From one side i love this kind of videos about theorycrafting, i always love finding small optimizations. From another i find funny the disconnect between whales and normal people at 24:08 "if you're not using the 150 gold moon weapon for some reason" aghabj, a lot of stuff you say assumes you have the 150 gold moon and all the grands for every element, when at most as f2p/low spender you can only mantain 2 elements with average luck, maybe not even that. I think of this kind of weapons as "equalizers", they're not to make current perfect grids stronger, they're to make f2p/unlucky people, or just if it's not your main element catch up to all the powercreep primal has gotten this past 2 years since they're not releasing m3, this may as well be m3 just not the way people expected, since it works on both magna and primal instead of just magna, in double magna summon they seem to give more dmg (if atk awakening) than any other magna weapon, and in non double magna they give more dmg cause the awakening itself gives so much compared to magna weapons, and have cap ups as a bonus. Keep up with the videos, they're really interesting even if i'm not going to be close to that level of grids anytime soon. Also Earth still doesn't have PnS, so who knows how long it will take for kaguya fan to go to other elements 💀
Yeah I can definitely see the disconnect LOL. I guess the way I framed the video in my head was this would be based off you using all amp available to you in your element and what the optimal setup would look like with those weapons and even though yes not everyone will have access to all of them in every ele or the 150 gold moon weapons in every ele I kinda assumed even if you go primal in just one ele you'd probably go for that ele's 150 gold moon weapon first so I tried to lay it out optimally for each element so even if you're only super invested in let's say wind you can try and see what use there is for you if that makes sense at all 😅 And yeah I completely agree on the equalizer title for the revans especially after my tests. These being so close to the resonator weapons should definitely help people to get stronger in eles they're not as invested in and again as you said if they're magna these help a lot with power. The only thing that kind of annoys me about this kind of weapon though is the material requirements. On one hand I can see why it's so expensive because of their power but on the other hand the amount of time and effort it takes to get them especially when aiming for multiple copies is absurd and I don't understand who it's even for at that point. Because the people most likely to farm that much are probably the whales who are already very invested in eles looking for that next little edge forward but it's hard to find that here if you already have the optimal stuff. So as we both said it's probably better as an equalizer type weapon but I'd wager the vast majority of people who need those equalizers don't want to or straight up are not able to farm the amount needed to significantly boost their power so it's just in a really weird spot to me. Lastly for the amp weapons I might be on massive copium but I still believe fire will get one on new years before gw. And with wind already having one and water dark and light already having it from hraesvalgr, ereshkigal, and ura respectively it LITERALLY only leaves earth without access to it in the near future. They're so afraid of earth it's unreal!
You're insights are so good and you express yourself so well! I think it's just painful rn because not a lot of people have them yet so raids are slow and is the endgame currently, for when you have only either gold bars or revans to farm. They'll make it easier with time, like they made easier m2 and m1 impossible back in the day. I remember when i first started playing that you used to make a sr grid becasue even levi daggers were so fucking rare.@@Ajt500
