- Hey guys,
before you all get mad at me for using a 3rd gen Ryzen cpu,
please hear me out, I have gotten this pc for a very low price in a second had state from my office,
I chose this one because I can later upgrade it to Ryzen 7 5th gen easily without a BIOS update.
For graphic card, I recommended 3080 ti and not the 40 series because they are insanely expensive and 3080 is well proven and capable to take anything you throw at it. - Наука та технологія

I am looking to build my architect wife a pc that can run lumion Revit and SketchUp and this has been the most helpful video I've found to understand the average requirements of those programs for a low budget, I would have liked an updated guide but this was quite helpful thank you.

Hi, can you tell me total pc configuration for 3dsmax and lumion high resolution renders
Brother, with the rendering of majority of the software they utilised the CPU for the live rendering which also needs RAM with decent speeds and minimum is now 32gb because just running the program on idle chokes up at least 15gb
I have been using 16gb ram and it still preform well but obviously the more the better!!
Which GPU gives better performance in terms of archtl softwares, is it rtx 3060 12gb vram or rtx 3070 8gb vram?
This is a slightly old video, is there any updates on ideal specs for the latest lumion and sketchup?

Hey what are your thoughts about intel arc a750 (8 gigs of vram) and its relatively cheap compared to rtx3060.

There's alot of things which matters in these cpu, gpu and rams not just the basic no.s
In cpu even in newer versions u have alphabet in the end of version which also matters alot. H name processer are powerful one for high end works like rendering editing and gaming. Also intel is powerful then ryzen in many cases that's why ryzen is in budget.
In gpu TGP matter to give u best performance out of gpu (higher TGP is better) .
In ram frequency also matters.. 2666, 3200, 3600 Mhz
Then it comes ddr4 nd ddr5
You are right, but this is a video of my setup, and if you see Ryzen, it is cheaper and gives almost equivalent performance, especially for software we use. I have tested both Ryzen and Inte, amd and Nvidia in terms of gpu and cpu performance, and ryzen is always a cheaper and comparable with Intel and in some cases, exceeds intel and Nvidia in cost range and performance.. Have a look at g17 and g16 6800m comparison in lumion rendering it killed by Nvidia. But your inputs are appreciated, and I do agree with your points.
@@ArchiVlogs. I agreed with some your points too.. Bcs ryzen cpu with ryzen gpu is good combination both together give extra boost rather then ryzen cpu and intel gpu.. I must say if u choosing ryzen cpu then go fr ryzen gpu as well nd it's cheaper bcs of little less single core performance somewhere intel nd somewhere ryzen lacks can't say much.
I have budget laptop with i5 9th gen with gtx 1650 .. My basic lumion works are going good but i agreed ur point having better gpu at least 3060 now not even 3050 min. 6gb card at least bcs lumion demands more gpu vram.. Enscape vray can be run on easily. Not declining ur points just it will be good to add little more info.. Ur sharing good info Good luck 🤞
Halo, for sketchup+enscape better 13700k+RTX4070Ti or 13900k+RTX4070?
both are good, but I will recommend you to go with the i7 and 4070ti gpu. Enscape or any other real time rendering software uses graphic card more. Save money by not buying i9 and use it on other components and cooling the CPU. And a pair of good monitors, one for sketchup and the other for enscape.
my man you didnt get into the softwares,i was hoping you would talk about revit,sketchup,rhino and -ray,cause those are the softwares i am testing and enjoy but my computer seems to choke when i am modeling large files.

you are using a laptop, it doesnt have enough room for it's hardware to breathe. Cooling is very important specially under load, components are programmed to throttle the clock speeds down to protect them from burning out and that causes stuttering.
Rhino ka faltu drama rehta hai kabhi kabhi. but Revit shouldnt' do that with your specs. Your Specs are good, but the limited cooling potential of laptop could be an issue. Also check the power settings and put them in performance mode if it's not.

Get a full-size atx motherboard, at least 16gb ram, rtx 3060ti or above , ssd or nvme drive ...nvme would be better. Get well ventilated cabinate.

How much budget is required for a perfect pc for all kinda civil engineering and architectural work
cpu- intel i5-13500 (very capable for handling renders, no point in going more than this unless paisa jeb mein ubaal maar raha hai!)
Motherboard- MSI Pro B-760M A WiFi DDR4 (DDR5 boards are very expensive, but should come down in price in 3-4 months) or You could use a cheaper B760 board or old B660 board with bios update to support 13th gen CPU.
RAM- DDR4 3200MHz 32GB kit of Corsair Vengeance for under 8000Rs. Corsair ka parts are well built and customer support is top notch.
PSU- Corsair CV 650watt
GPU- RTX 3060 (any brand, Zotac has 5yr warranty while others have only 3yrs....buy whichever fits in the budget) 30-40k mein various models hai, regular RTX3060/Ti version/OC version, 3070 is expensive.
STORAGE: WD blue SN570 1tb NVMe SSD as boot drive and for softwares and a WD blue 1TB Hard disk for storage. Do not buy Seagate or Adata, last 12 yrs mein jitne bhi Seagate and Adata use kiya hai builds mein fail hue hai, specially Seagate.
Cabinet: MSI MAG forge M100A (Micro ATX case hai for Micro ATX board, agar ATX size motherboard le rahe ho to case us size ka dekh lo. Dont overspend, under 5000/- bahut saare acche cases hai available market mein.
CPU cooler: Liquid cooling is very tempting but I will recommend Getting an Air cooler instead, koi fark nahi hai for the parts we are using, its less points of failure for the future.
Deepcool AK400/ Cooler Master Hyper 212/ Antec ka bhi ek model hai all under 3.5k.....
Monitor: 24 inch for 1080p. 15k ke around mein kuch acche monitors hai from benq, msi optix, gigabyte, LG.....
Rs 1,15,000 tak to expect karo above said build ka.....
isse kum mein bhi ho sakta if we swap few parts.
you could also look around for used parts, you will save a lot of money if you are able to find good deals. CPU, RAM and Graphic cards can be bought used. Agar bande ne acche se rakha hai to koi performance degredation nahi hone waala hai.......
But you will have to know what to look.

you have to get a minimum configuration of ryzen 5 or ryzen 7 or i7 cpu, rtx 3060 gpu, 16gb ram a ssd is needed and this will give you descent performance.
@@ArchiVlogs. brother im stil confused about this. i watched many videos comparison between intel 12/13 vs latest ryzen. all videos say latest intel gen is much better than ryzen.
is there any spesific proc feature for 3d artist/architect or something else? why 3d artist usually like/use ryzen for the proc. please brother...

60 to 75 hz is enough for us and a full hd or 2k resolution will work, we don't need mor than that.

Vray doesnot support AMD graphic cards, so how can it render faster.?
It supports it. it's just not tuned for AMD, and I am talking about lumion rendering.
@@ArchiVlogs. i tried to render on vray using 6700xt but v ray doesnt even detect AMD cards.
@@Pavan-ws6xi most of the rendering softwares are optimised for NVIDIA cards, but that doesnt mean AMD cards wont work. I have used AMD cards before in my build and for others who have asked for my help and they work just fine.
but going with NVIDIA would be always preferred for our works untill rendering software companies starts optimising AMD cards to work with them.
Are you using an APU? It could be that the software isnt switching between integrated graphics and 6700xt.

My rig is i7 10700 and rtx 3060 ti and it performs well than 2060
