Hi Wendy, You most likely already know this but for your audience, It’s also important to put graphite (no.2 pencil) on your bridge to help the string glide over smoothly. You also don’t want the strings to pull your bridge towards the fingerboard because the legs will be leaning and it’ll start to warp. Another tip, loosen your fine-tuners, the more they are screwed in, the more sound can feel stiff. Also, clean the fingerboard from the rosin!

I have been super interested in these strings; using pirastro gold at the moment…would love to know if you feel those are similar? If only I were independently wealthy and could try all the strings 🤪
