How scary you were starting out on your journey together and everything that that brings the good the bad the ugly and I was in the process of ending my marriage because we could do OK with the good we suffered through the bad and we couldn’t get past the ugly. And the saddest thing is we stayed together for the sake of our kids and my oldest told me later Ashley first he told me what took you guys so long? And then he said don’t ever stay together for the sake of Allison and I because our lives have been a living hell. He got over it really quickly a down payment for her house from her dad was enough to make her happy and she’s married has two kids but unfortunately we did a real job on our oldest. I can’t believe my oldest is 40 but he has taken every single precaution necessary to make sure that he does not bring a child into the world and be will never be attached to a woman who wants one.I really didn’t think that I was that bad of a parent. I knew I was a lousy wife, but I didn’t know I was a lousy parent too but I guess according to my kids, I was.
❤ It is difficult being the rock of the family especially when you feel betrayed. From the above notes it sounds like you did the honorable thing and tried to make the marriage work.
