I wish you would have done this with the lighting on. Seeing the layering of the lights would have been lovely. Absolutely gorgeous home. I love your style
This home is so stunning, and it really shows how a builder-grade house can be made into a truly custom home full of warmth and personality. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful space!
Absolutely stunning. The moody earth tones brings a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere to this gorgeous home. Keep up the excellent work and please put out more content.
Beautiful! I learned a few new things for my custom build to start next year. Thank you. I wish the video lighting was brighter, however, so one could discern the colors better.
Beautiful work. Would like to be able to see it better to appreciate the finishes, furniture, textures and colors. Personal preference: Having many blinds pulled down at half-mast and sheers fully drawn is a mood bummer for my lover of natural light heart. Likely it’s solely for filming but i think it lessons the ability to witness how good the work is. Regardless, tremendous result in taking builder-grade to a personalized cohesive custom-quality. Vision and skill 🔥
Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately due to a tight production schedule we had to create this video in this format. We'll keep this in mind for our next videos ☺ Glad you enjoyed the video!
Came to say the same thing! Don't love the sitdown narration either, and the lighting here seems really dark for what looks like a stunning home renovation. Another bit of feedback since you asked for it: if you would like to gain more likes and subscribers, one thing you might consider is focusing on providing helpful content. Obviously, you are a businesswoman promoting your projects to showcase your work and build your clientele, which is fine. But to build an *audience*, think about providing helpful content for your viewers: tips & designer tricks, how to style awkward angles, tools you use that others might be able to also use that don't require you to be a designer, easy makeovers that don't require a ton of $$$, adding character to builder-grade homes, building a nursery, downsizing after kids leave the home, etc. This is what designers who've gone into the big leagues started out doing and still do (think Shea McGee, Joanna Gaines, and Amber Lewis). Also, think about how most "normal" people live: We live in smaller spaces. Where possible, speak to your viewers about how they might use some of your tips and concepts in smaller spaces. I subscribed to your channel a few months back because your work is gorgeous! I'd love to learn more from watching your channel, and wish you much success as you grow it!
@@alyshalight9762 Thanks so much for your feedback and for being here with us! Hopefully you'll stick around as we continue to evolve our work and our content ☺🤎
My first time seeing your channel. Loved the design esthetic. Very glam and laid back, at the same time. The tone of your voice is perfect for narration and I enjoyed the relaxed pace of the commentary. One small suggestion is to increase the lighting in your videography as it was just a little dark for me to see - and I didn't want to miss anything! :)
I get the temperature of the video was intentionally made dark but it actually feels like the house itself just doesn't have strategically placed light points, definitely the natural light sources are minimal but the electric lights themselves don't seem to be the right ones to counter that. Indoor plants wouldn't thrive here
At first I wondered the same thing and then realised that not all interiors have to be bright. I then appreciated the moodiness of this gorgeous house.
Builders always put light switches and thermostats near the middle of walls ruining ability to put decent art or mirrors. Great job in the foyer with the narrow mirror beside the switches.
The purpose of the butler's pantry is to push the main kitchen area forward and eliminate dead space! It serves as a space for extra storage and prep space to keep the main kitchen area free of clutter. It's not a full second kitchen in the sense that all the appliances are located in the main kitchen area. Hope this helps ☺
I think that was creative, pulling forward the main kitchen area to create space for the butler’s pantry. I haven’t seen this done before in a home renovation, and I really love it! Also, your material choices are so beautiful. Really love the Taj Mahal counters, bead board and butcher block countertops. They go so well with the cream cabinets and wood stained island. Well done!

Stunning work!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Breathtaking!
Thank you 🤎
Great video, if I had one complaint is that I think the old video style of you giving a walkthrough tour is better than this sit down narrator style.

the kitchen!!
So glad you like it, thank you! 🤎
Love the work but I can’t see in the dim lighting 🙁
How would you decorate if you have orangey wood floors?
Love this. Will you do work in San Francisco @westofmaindesign?
We totally can and would love to!
Where is the black buffet/sideboard from that’s in the dining room? ❤
It's from our shoppe! Westofmain.com 🤎
Beautiful space. The video is unfortunately so dark, couldn’t watch to the end.

Does anyone know the wall paint color ????!!! 😊
Benjamin Moore Steam!

There is plenty of lighting throughout the home, we kept the ambiance moody for the purpose of the home tour. 🤎

Don’t get the second kitchen if you need more space just make the main kitchen bigger. I get a pantry but not a second kitchen.
U get way more storage with the second kitchen
