After my Masters in Molecular Biology (covid19 batch), I took a break for 1.5 years, where I provided Biology coaching to 11th and 12th students (a way of providing financial support to my household). Alongside that I was actively learning about my field of interest and also preping for the entrace tests. Now, I am approaching professors (RNA Biology) to pursue a research oppurtunity (internship or training). How can I explain this gap year (basically lack of experience) either in an e-mail or interviews? I also have a publication (desertation work, transcriptomics)
Its just my opinion, but you mostly don't have to explain or state regarding any gap/ break you took in your studies / career as mostly no one will ask you regarding it and only focus on your cv and things you have done/ accomplished , but in rare cases if the do ask you can answer that you took a break to deepen your knowledge and broaden your base of interest. Again it's just my opinion so...

So my mom and dad chose jee advanced so i have to study for jee advanced, so can you tell me if i just study science subjects of jee advanced and seperately english then will it be enough for me to get good marks in SAT also my parents told me that they can only spend money on me upto sending me there are around 15-20k per month after going there but study fees should be full scholarship and they will not allow me for education loan.
