The Most Secret Easter Egg in Mario history

Im sure someone has found this before but I was never aware until now. On the Great Goal pole level in mario 3d world you can see a small dot far in the distance if you squint, and if you run at it full speed you can see a crouched 8 bit luigi. Im really surprised I didn't die trying to see it.
