Its totally depends individual interests. Getting high salary in private job takes some pressure because you are getting high pay. In govt salary is less but pressure low. But when comes to reality if you even get govt job that doesnt mean you are fully in peace there will come other aspects to make you pressure . If you want to work in private you should know the skills. Some people are interested in learning in new things, if you understand the situation and learn new things and skills , you will settle in very short period. job security is not at all a problem for skilled and confident. Some people enjoys in private , they feel it like a adventure. some people dont like that. So thats why its totally upon individual mindset. There are lot of people who leave govt jobs for not getting satisfied work and go to private and there are happy. some people are satisfied with govt job not satisfies with private. Both the sector only do topper..in private if u r not in IIT or IIM or some prestigious institute so can't earn what u are expecting... when u graduate and start in private sector starting salary near it 14-15k but if u graduate in IIT and IIM thn thought about 15-30Lpa ... In govt job now days govt job is one of the most difficult job to achieve and ofcourse govt job is prestige,pride and job security satisfaction everything what u want...!! I was working with ICICI Po as salary of 30k now I'm working with SBI as JA salary is almost same but in govt job satisfaction security etc..!
