the shading on the eye added so much to it! and then making the nail matte and the eye glossy was just *chefs kiss* perfect. I liked your lucky charm nail a lot too! and I feel like that's something you could redo in a few months and you'll already have improved a lot :)
Also a tip for mixing colours (of anything, paint, clay, polish, etc) is to always start with mostly the lighter/weaker colour, and slowly add a little bit of the darker/more intense one bit by bit until you have your desired colour. I know this, but I'll still often start with too much of the more intense colour anyways ':) lol

The "abstract" middle finger, really lends itself to a tail! I think some different cats, maybe even black ones, for Halloween (or any long-tailed animals, like monkeys or lemurs, etc..), with trailing tails coming down the nail tips, would be ADORABLE! 🥰

I've used stuff similar! I make my charms on a press on nail with clear wrap on it. Cure, then pop off and glue it where you choose!

That clay would be great in moulds to as it holds its form so you can curve the surface to sit on the nail better....then you just cure it, demold and pop it on the nail. I love the charms you made...so cute 💗💗

I’ve recently found your videos again after watching years and years back and I’m really loving it ☺️ they’ve gotten me back in to getting my nails done and I’m thinking about attempting my own.
I’d really love it if you could maybe do a “how to apply rhinestones” type of video! In between sets I sometimes like to put glitter polish over the growth to disguise my cuticles but I want to try it with rhinestones instead and I have no idea where to start 😅

I’ve never made or gotten my nails done, only ever painted them, but your videos are always so comforting to watch. I’m literally about to go get a full set using that squiggly nail as inspo 😂🫶🏽

franmar (even reliably on amazon unlike other major brands sold on amazon) is a hair stylist brand. but their multi profession use products. like their gloves in particular mention they’re made with “claws” aka nail extensions/enhancements in mind. meaning it’s far more difficult to poke through the top even with long stilettos like you’re wearing now. i often do apres XL stiletto and sharpening the pt and it can be 20 min before it punctures. but a rounded stiletto tip is unlikely to puncture them at all even with exteme length.
ANYWAY they’re the black ones… they have 3” extra wrist coverage and account for 1/2” ish it seems for additional finger length in mail extensions.
it’s like written into the gloves advertising in that important lol
franmar black nitrile gloves should be enough of a search.
they’re mid range price for gloves.
but only nitrile are the right level of protection material that can guarantee nail ingredients (not acetone tho lol it’ll still eat thru the glove in excess) not to corrode your glove or cause tears or fissures. they’re very well made gloves. i’m mad at nyelff for buying 1000 for $60 cause i was like omg that’s such a good deal. well now i don’t wear them cause these franmar ones are no comparison for those barely there gloves that i wasted money on lol.
and from the color of your gloves, in 90% positive they’re not nitrile which means you’re still at increased risk when raw gels touch the gloves where your skin is touching directly. so you might need to try them too!
