Down in front. lol. ty for sharing
Thanks for this one! So many white-haired or no hair old folks like me.😂
MUST BE TOO MUCH TEQUILA 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉😮😮😮BS😮😅
Saw them in 83,the Keep it up tour.Opening act was Zebra,Who’s behind the door.
Zebra is still going, over 40 years later.....
I was at this show it was great but Mike is holding that mic way too far away so is he lip syncing????
I hope he hasn't gone to the Vince Neil and Bret Michaels School of Vocal Performance!!!🤔🤔🤔😀
Glad to see people loving Loverboy, they sounded quite well judging by this video
I shared a stage with them in 2017 in England during the Rockingham festival in Nottingham. They were fantastic.
How about that green/yellow tshirt dude standing smack dab in front of the op cameraman. AT least get down on a knee osr something. wtf.
Loverboy road the "new wave" circuit of the early 80s and they had cool, upbeat songs with meaning...great instrumentals and emotion and of course his one of a kind voice. Cant believe how perfect his voice is at almost 70 years old! Unusually awesome for his age.
Sit dowwwwnnn
They sounded great last night
God, he still sounds amazing! Why aren't people standing up rocking their asses off? No way I could sit down with Mike Reno on stage. Love you, Mike.❤
It was a long evening
We are old now. Omg 😢
@@deesnider2001us I know, right? I just turned 69, but I still rock a concert 🤪.
I'm 42 and I'd be JAMMING!!! I grew up on the 80's!
I love these old rockers just a big part of my life!!!
Was at this show, sorry he's using backing tracks, probably for consistency, I saw them a couple years ago in a real small venue and he sounded great , with no backing tracks , so he can still bring it
I was at the show and was standing to your left.. Sucks guys stood up in the way.. Was my 1st time seeing Sammy Hagar.. Loverboy was one of the 1st bands i ever saw back in the early 90s. My sister took me to SPAC to see them and i believe Huey Lewis was with them
Definitely a great show!
They need to play at least an hour. Way too short. Hope this isn't the full set other concerts will be on this tour
It’s the same set they’ve been playing on all the Sammy shows on this tour.
@@squintyt4e_2 thank you, just looked that up. Wish they could add at least 2 more, Jump, Take Me to the Top.
Saw them at Hammerjacks back in the 80's. Still sounding awesome.
They haven't lost anything musically - a bit lackluster on the energy side, but great musically.
36:51 No way he’s hitting that high note. Watch the keyboard player. He’s kicking off a backing track of that high note.
He's legit screaming the note, the engineer adds delay and more reverb. It's not a crime
@@malinwj1167 Trust me, he’s not hitting that note. He’s just barely hitting the high normal notes.
Dude in the white shirt was the star!
Ushers - ugh. They’ve got a job to do, but it was irritating.
@@squintyt4e_2 In Mexico we have people walking around ALL of the fkn' time selling beers and food, both in concerts and sports events
@@squintyt4e_2👍You can tell that Mike's voice is thinning out a bit. Nice to see small improvements on some songs. I liked the footage at the end where you panned out to the crowd behind you, super interesting to see if there are only older fans, or if there are young fans. I hope to see more of this, people leaving etc. maybe it could be an extra video by itself even. Though I bet you were a bit tired after filming for 50 minutes.
excellent ! canadas ambassadors of rock!!!!
Thank you for sharing this! I missed the first half of their set while stuck in traffic.
One of my favorite bands hope they come to the arcada theatre in st Charles I’ll soon
They are opening for REO Speedwagon this fall in the Midwest. I’m not sure if they are coming close to you, but check out REO’s website for info. Tour dates were just announced last week (10 dates or so). Good luck!
Looks like tip notch security. Lol
😂😂😂
Hello Mike, I met and hung out w/ you guys in 1982 @ Copperopolis Resort Ca, after the Helicopter did un upside down stunt before landing at the Resort .Mountain Aire Festival, Ca..We were the band playing at the resort where u guys were staying...What a fun Weekend....I did this 3 month diet change and all I did was eat meat and eggs, I lost 50 lbs.. I feel so much better...I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I Love ur music Music...BTW...I worked w/ your Brother Steve at Guitar Center in San Franciso in 1984, He worked with me @ on My recording Project @ The Tubes studio (Bear West) on Howard street....he taught me alot about putting together music...God Bless You Guys !!! Peace !
These Acts are dissapearing to. Enjoy , none of us are getting younger. I would rather have a flawed live performance vs help with vocal tracks and such.
I just don't get why Reno won't take better care of himself and lose that weight.
I just don’t know why people body shame others on the internet, when they could just keep their dumb opinion to themselves.
Sorry dude but those are terrible seats. I'd be pissed with all those fools standing in front of you.
They were $25 lawn tickets so you get what you pay for. It was that or $200+ inside and so for this show I went cheap.
@@squintyt4e_2 okay that makes sense.
They sound great but please god Mike Reno get your fucking weight down! We love ya man and wanna see you perform again soon! Stay Topside!
Name other frontmen from the early ‘80s who don’t weigh more than they did back then (45 years ago) - besides Kevin Cronin - or look in the mirror, do you weigh the same?
It’s part of aging so instead of berate what he looks like, maybe comment how how he sounds (which is still pretty excellent 45 years later).
@@squintyt4e_2 your completely taking it the wrong way! As a fan I'm concerned at how big he is. It's not healthy...he's morbidly obese! As people age they turn to drinking wine & alcohol and your liver can't metabolize grains so your liver stores it as fat. That is why most adults blow up like balloons and become stiff and arthritic as they age because of what they consume. He sounds good but I wanna see him drop some weight so he can front Loverboy for another 10+ years!
Blubberboy😂😂
"LOVERGUT"😂😂
%$#&@!
People don't know good music great Mike reno
Oink oink
Being a kind human isn’t that hard for most people. I’m sure you can do better.
