@@sagelight7777 Yes agree, it's a mystery to me that people think Fury schooled Klitschko, each round had very little in it and was tough to score both guys landing similar effective punches and Fury busier throwing more but Klitschko with the centre of the ring being the aggressor, I honestly think if Fury was Klitschko and Ngannou was Fury that Fury would get the decision.

Without being a historian, I made my mind up that Lewis was the best heavyweight I'd seen. 13 years later I'm not sure my mind has changed, even with everything I know now. Lewis was just so athletic, powerful, durable and well rounded. His fundamentals sound, his jab like iron. Probably the best jab of all time (in hw boxing) right?

From what I remember yesterday:
-clear rounds given to the great Francis Ngannou_ 3, 4 and 8.
-clear rounds given to Tyson_ 1, 2, 9 and 10.
5 was a good show from Francis taking some nice dodges with counters so it´s a coin toss but if Tyson jabbed him as slick as he does, would be an easy night.
6-4 to Tyson at best. Great display from Francis which I´m a fan now, hope to see him more!

Lennox beat everyone he ever faced and, unlike every other retiring champion, he fought his successor Vitali... and beat him.
Liston lost to Ali, Ali lost to Holmes, Holmes lost to Tyson, Tyson lost to Lewis & Holyfield, Holyfield lost to Lennox, Lennox beat Vitali.
Marciano didn't face Liston (...Liston would've knocked him back to Brockton), otherwise we could go all the way back into the mists of time.

Joe Louis' last fight was against Marciano, after retiring in 1949, having knocked-out Walcott in a rematch with a man who had him on the canvas three times in two fights.
At that point he had one loss on his record which he had avenged, had defended the championship 34 times in a row, and should've sailed off into the sunset.
But he didn't have any money. He got robbed by his manager. And so he came back to get ko'd by Marciano, after getting whopped by Ezzard Charles. Boxing is terrible like that.
