Before people start the usual nonsense of.. “AJ would never beat Lewis if both were in their prime” Just remember Lennox Lewis got knocked out by McCall and Rahman.. Both fighters who are NOWHERE NEAR the level of Joshua. If they could beat him then Joshua would have just as much of a chance. Secondly, if social media was around during Lennox Lewis era, when Lewis got sparked out you’d all be jumping on him saying “Lewis is NOWHERE NEAR as good as the heavyweights of the past” Just remember all great fighters LOSE.. All great fighters get KNOCKED OUT.. And for the record I DON’T think Joshua would have beaten Lewis in their prime. But I’m just making a point that ANYBODY in Heavyweight boxing can get knocked out no matter how good they are, it’s happened for centuries and it’ll continue to happen.
The stoppage against McCall was controversial. The loss to Rahman was because Lewis was filming some movie instead of training. He came back and beat both of them. But I get your point, don't compare fighters of different eras.
We will see if AJ can recover from this, I have said for years that he can’t take a shot to the side of the head, it’s how Ruiz finished him and Usyk kept scrambling him. I BACKED DANIEL.... I TRULY BELIEVED HE WAS GONNA DO IT.... WHO'S DOUBTING DDD NOW... AJ WAS CONFIDENT BUT HE WAS TAKEN OUT BY THE KING SLAYER
King slayer ffs 😂
ME TOO , AND I GOT SLATED ALL WEEK . WHO'S LAUGHING NOW 😂😂😂😂
*Aj went for the uppercut and Dubois beat him to the hook! Total domination. AJ suspect chin gets exposed again! Respect to Dubois!*
AJ’s team had the whole game plan wrong
No way was that down to game plan. AJ froze for whatever reason. Maybe the Dubois jab rattled him. The first knockdown was a shocking lapse in concentration as well. Congrats to Dubois. He fought like an absolute bull, but AJ did a lot wrong.
We can't keep blaming his team.
First round overhand right. Same right that floored him during Reuiz match the 1st one. Not only that, he tried to parry the overhand right while against the ropes.
🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Ben Davidson is overrated. He's a sports psychologist, he's good for helping fighters when they're feeling down mentally, but then his tactical flaws show
Carl Frampton has only seen one fight before - Nelson v Ponce de Leon.
Lennox nox would have beaten both of them !
Lewis would have folded Joshua up like a deckchair
The state of that Leprechaun, "the best fight I've ever seen" 😂
Ref was trying for AJ
Frampton in hyperbole mode to see if there's room on the Saudi gravy train 😂
Riyad season completely ended the careers of Fury, Wilder & Joshua 😂
Damn turki is ruthless
I thought them three would bring the heavyweight division into its golden age. Shame
@@Ooth9999 Joshua & Hearn’s fault. Fury & wilder both stepped up and fought eachother 3 times. Always said it was Matchroom conning the public the whole time.
@@DonKing-xg4kqfury literally pulled out of the scheduled aj fight
And wilder declined a fight offer against aj
Wilder himself confirmed that
Wilder and fury were the reason they never fought each other
@@DonKing-xg4kqwilder only picked the fury fight because he thought fury was done
It’s all about the Turki now.
No room for the chickens
This fight brought a spark of the 80s boxing back
Frank Bruno in his prime would have knocked AJ out.
And Bruno could take a punch.
@@badger509well, I’d argue Bruno could take a punch better than AJ but Bruno was a bit chinney too to be fair.
Bruno would dismantle aj ,bruno boxed in a tougher eta
Era sorry
Why is Lennox Lewis not happy with AJ's tactics? What specific strategies does he think AJ should have used instead?
Aj has no chin👺
and no defense
Thanks for stating the obvious
He defo does. He was eating Right Hands for fun. He had no defence. No say should debois be landing that frequently
The biggest tragedy is that AJ had the tools necessary to beat Dubois even if would still be a close match. But didn't use _any_ of them in this fight. I almost feel like Dubois didn't win because of his skill and ability, he won because the man set to fight him didn't even show up.
An all British title fight where the champ walked in first , what the hell ? .
Daniel wasnt the champ when they signed the fight apparently
They pulled a Holmes vs Cooney on us
A.j was a team
Just shows how confident dubois was to agree to it
@@decidingpaper6324 Nice.
I put this down to Ben Davidson. They were over confident. The plan was to counter punch with no Plan B! AJ was far too relaxed and thought he could knock Dubios out early. Very naive!
It's not about his training. He's lost his confidence since Ruiz. He looked scared from the off. Once he got punched in the first round, he fell to bits. Doesn't matter who is training him.
That was an awful game plan or whatever it was. Perfect put by Words from Carl Froch.... what was AJ doin in there , what was the plan ... to get el sparko'd then look like ya got tasered. 🤭😂
That Gazelle Punch that DDD was trying to cultivate will be a super weapon if he can fully execute Iron Mikes moves.
Turki looked pissed, Riyad season might be over
Yup!!! 😭😭😭😆😆
Love seing him upset
😂😂😂😂fcuk riyad season... and turki
the boxers (zhang, dubois, etc) keep ruining his plans its beautiful
@@LDN_BOX Riyadh Season came to an abrupt end 🤣🤣
sometimes i feel like people forget how great Lennox was, he was top of the top. He would mope the floor with today's HWs
Ref was awful...
Paid off by Turki
I'm glad he was bcos I wanted the fight to go on
AJ came to the ring upset and depressed, he realised that he spent £5,000 for the Oasis concert and he didn’t like Liam’s performance just before the fight
said it before, aj chin is gone and when he hit in side of head then his legs go...so glad he got folded :)
Dubois totally schooled Joshua from R1. All heavyweights can deliver serious punishment... but who can take it.
AJ' chin is shocking. He can't take punches. Just shows how to beat him
Best way to beat A.J is simply hit him on the chin ,and that's a wrap once he gets stunned it's over ,I seen out of shape fury get knocked into the past ,and then get up and fight like he's possessed joshua has no chin case closed
AJ never recovers from being rocked, once hes rocked thats it
Mike Tyson was a beast. He would have flattened them both on the same night.. when he was 20 😂
Aj is done!
Nice interview guys Lenox ❤
Lewis would have spanked every current heavyweight.
Easily.
Lewis got KOD by rahman
Nope, Usyk would defeat Lewis. It would be rough, I think Usyk loses the middle rounds as Lewis hits him with uppercuts, but Usyk for sure pressures and outboxed Lewis.
@@soundwavesuperior28 imo i dont see Usyk outboxing lennox at all. The thing which makes lennox all time great is he's one of the most complete heavyweight of all time. He never depended on his power alone. He was smart as hell when he was focused. His jab would sting Usyk all night imo
And came back and knocked him out avenged every lossssss
1:48 what’s going on with his voice 😂
AJ best win? 40 year old+ Klitschko.
Doesn't say much for AJ lol
Joseph Parker
Fury was out and Wilder was unproven.
A 40 year old Klitschko was the #1 at that stage in the heavyweight division...
Who has Daniel beaten
@@DavidGoldX That's a good win but I'd still say Wlad was better. Just my humble opinion
Aj playing games. He's upto something.
Before people start the usual nonsense of.. “AJ would never beat Lewis if both were in their prime”
Just remember Lennox Lewis got knocked out by McCall and Rahman.. Both fighters who are NOWHERE NEAR the level of Joshua. If they could beat him then Joshua would have just as much of a chance.
Secondly, if social media was around during Lennox Lewis era, when Lewis got sparked out you’d all be jumping on him saying “Lewis is NOWHERE NEAR as good as the heavyweights of the past”
Just remember all great fighters LOSE..
Well said.
Wise
Lennox is our greatest champion, he would of annihilated AJ at any stage of his career.
The stoppage against McCall was controversial. The loss to Rahman was because Lewis was filming some movie instead of training.
He came back and beat both of them.
But I get your point, don't compare fighters of different eras.
@@mikemorane5753 he couldn’t stand straight lol did u see the way he put up his gloves
We will see if AJ can recover from this, I have said for years that he can’t take a shot to the side of the head, it’s how Ruiz finished him and Usyk kept scrambling him. Povetkin almost managed to make him taste the canvas, it’s been a problem for him since the Klitchko fight and he’s never worked on a defense to stop people hitting him there!
AJ look lost woman 🤨
Best fight he’s ever seen 🤯
Was very disappointed to hear our fans boo the Saudi Arabia national anthem. Sheikh Turki CHOSE to do this fight in London, he could've easily done this in Saudi like the other fights. We should've shown respect to his nation's national anthem
Dubois first right hand was delivered in monthly instalments. 😅 AJ should have seen that coming & moved.
AJ’s hands were low, his reactions were slow, & he stayed in range for most of the fight without counterpunching. He looked like his was trying out the Joe Joyce style of boxing.
