within 2 minutes I started crying as i approached the beach. I'm going through a breakup that's just so bitterly disappointing and feels like such a waste :(
Is it normal to remember more as you write in your journal? I worry that I am embellishing, but it feels right. I realized that the forest represents my past, my childhood. The beach and the sea represents my present and my past. Earth, Sea, and Sky surround me, is within me. Thank you so much for these journeys, and for everything you do for us. Stumbling upon this guided journey is a blessing! I'm an irish pagan seeking practice with inner journeys, and this was an excellent short exercise! In the sand I saw a square of four points, and within it I saw a treskele (however it's spelled) the threefold spiral of land, sky, and sea. I interpret the symbol as the three earthly realms contained within the four elements, which was an interesting revelation. I started falling asleep, tho, so that was all I got from this exercise. Thanks again!
Lora, I really enjoy listening to your voice. It's very soothing and helped me relax. I'll have to keep practicing with the shapes in the sand. I couldn't visualize the changing shapes.
This was the first real journey work I’ve tried and it was successful. I saw the circle and dot before you even said I would, and it changed into a square and spiral before you said it would. I went back to a time and place where I was truly happy and full of discovery. A place where I felt at home. And my returning there through this guided journey made me realize so much more about that place and the experience of being there. What it meant and how magical a place it was, though I didn’t know it at the time. Thank you Lora
