Hi there, Tom. Congratulations on your new M3! Oooooh, a narrowboat! They fascinate me. Great set of photographs. I especially like the ones with trailers in the background.
I really enjoyed this vid. Love Leica, love old cars especially loved those hot rods. Always wanted a hot rod when I was young. Now I could afford one I'm too bloody old for it. Such is life. Keep up the good work all the best, Jake.
M3 and the Summicron Rigid are a classic combination. Probably the best mechanical M camera and lens that Leica ever built. Congratulations. Good photography too, so the Leica wasn't wasted and thank you for the video.
Thank you this combination has been in the hands of legendary photographer and some amazing photographs from wars to the streets thanks for your comment and glad you think it’s not wasted 😊
Sir : I have an M3 with a know trail , through Bellamy at JCH and then to Italy , after the KANTO rebuild that Bellamy arranged , and finally to me , now here is where it gets even more interesting ; the M3 I have is one of very very few that had the DS Body with the Buddha Ear strap lug , and Single Stroke , by Leica and this is a rare rare prototype that was only made out of " existing bodies in stock " at Leica . The SS Buddha ear was only made part of a production run for a few months in one year, a rare M3 . This camera I purchased from the Italian man who had it reconditioned by Bellamy and KANTO of Japan is my best M film body. Best brightest view finder , smoothest mechanism and the best chrome or silver plated body . Better than my MA Leica , a better made product. The M3 Leica's were the BEST , with the 0.90 view finder. You Sir have a great camera in your hands. 💪🏻
Wow sounds like your m3 is a very rare camera indeed and a prototype ??? I’m very interested in speak with you more about your knowledge of m3 dm me on my instagram and let me see this rare m3 and thank you for your kind words

An old camera and some old cars. Great stuff
Clean sharp black and white images of cars who can't complain

Tbf, nothing stops you from using same focusing method with M3. The rangefinder is optional 👍
