It is definitely chaotic for a BF game. It kinda feels like a CoD game sometimes. You could try to get used to it via the in game "solo" system. Go to Conquest or the option below that (that replaced Rush) and the last option lets you set Bot AI Difficulty, and what map you wanna do, to get the feel for some of the maps or all of them. You can also farm your Unlocks for weapons this way if you don't wanna try to get them in matches. I do this with sniper rifles because I suck with them in actual combat vs real people. Practice there and with helo's / jets too and maybe one day I won't suck with them.
I didn't even know you could farm XP that way! That's interesting, I appreciate the information on that. I definitely enjoy battlefield more than the recent Call of Duty games lately, I'm really excited for the latest installment of battlefield, hopefully next year sometime. You played the map where the grenade spam is absurd and LMG's are the best option. Not the best map of the game.
