I Too frequently wear pants.
😂
Funny without the comma 😂
Too frequently? I'd wager you might not wear them enough. /s
I, too frequently, wear pants.
🇺🇸 I too, too frequently wear pants... 🇺🇸
I used to be a janitor. But then I got caught doing math problems and they wanted me to go to counseling, it was a whole thing.
It isn’t your fault...
Best comment on here! ...you could be on to a great movie script or something.
@@wtranaI don't have time to right a script. They want me to take a trip to Mars but I have a bad feeling about it.
@@WarriorPoetSociety you need to get a bone tactical key chain. Trust me. I got it qhen it first came out. I love mine. Its called the bone breaker I think, I got it 3 or 4 years ago.. If I could buy one and send it to you I would just for you to check it out. I like mine that much. Cause no one knows what it is........ you will thank me later I think. Lol. Love your content beena watching for a long time.
@Washburn I feel like you might be someone who could settle a debate my pals have raging right now- if you had to pick, would you choose a Ford, or a Ferrari?
Lift, run, shoot, learn. If you're not doing all of the above, you're slackin. Love your stuff man. 6 years now and still watch everything you put out.
Thanks bob!
I know who to go after LOL. Just kidding
Awesome as usual Keep up the work alohas from Hawaii 🤙🏾
Umm! John you carry a pistol how you getting mugged? Just askin.
Running is the least pleasant
I cannot tell you just how much I learn and how much I enjoy your video's. You have the most "no bullshit" delivery and for that I am appreciative! Keep up the PHENOMENAL work! Thank you for your service and your CONTINUED service to patriots.
"I would love it if part of your EDC was a healthy, strong, fast, agile, flexible body."
Thanks for the instruction. I now carry an attack dog with me every day.
Bork Bork nom nom for the win
Lol...nice one, man.
Awesome comment. I walk my hunting dog daily. It is a great time. We're averaging 3 miles a day. But he's friendly and a chick magnet.
🤣🤣🤣 🐕
Murder meat missile in a backpack. Genius
John Lovell, I really do appreciate your cheerful and positive disposition while still driving home the importance of being capable and willing to do what is necessary to stand against evil. It is a valuable and uncommon balance, thank you.
Nicely said ;)
It sells more product
As a doctor and a person with family with diabetes also, I appreciate you making mention about the glucose gel. Really helpful stop-gap to have. It also would be good to keep in the truck a spare glucometer. It's come in handy quite a few times. I appreciate the work that you do. :)
Appreciate what you do doc! I'm a cop, been in to see yall more than once for Uof 🤭
Don't believe the food pyramid bullshit. You can fix type 2 diabetes with pepper diet combined with fasting. Doctors like you are the type to avoid.
Yet another great video. As a woman who watches all you stuff, I want to say thank you for being funny and serious and educational all wrapped into one channel. My family truly enjoys learning from you and your team.
so yay for pants.. fully agree that training to use the things you carry is key: software > hardware.. grateful for this channel and for all you’re doing to support our nation and its citizenry.. praying for you and your family - at home and at work
Perfect timing as a reminder for us to be always ready, especially to protect ourselves and other from cowards, like the person or people who attack innocent children in their classrooms and such. Prayers go out for those left behind, who have to deal with the tragedy and grief.
You people are allergic to logic. The number 1 cause of death in children under 19 is firearms. Your response…..more firearms everywhere! Now go pray to ur invisible man in the sky you intellectual midget.
Gun free zones are really working well
We, The People must be armed to respond when police are 14 minutes away
Nice EDC! Love the ankle medical kit.
Hey John, I’m 68 (soon 69) and former Infantry (with Ranger aspirations). I’m a bit tore up but still functional and I still carry everyday, and I’m the family medic. Sounds strange, but in my situation it’s true. Yes training is a must.
As a former 911 dispatcher and current diabetic, thank you for keeping that glucose handy!
I need to step it up. Medical is my biggest weakness. I’ve got medical knowledge/skill, but I don’t carry medical gear and that needs to change. Keep up the fight brother! God bless!
Wonderful sir, I was just watching over your old EDC, Get home bag, and truck setup videos as a way to review and revise my kits as part of “spring cleaning” so to speak. Then this gem pops up in my notifications tab ❤
I just changed out a bunch of stuff in my walk the dog backpack. Got rid of the -25 windchill gear, swapping for lighter spare clothes and more water for the beast.
Followed you for years now. Really happy how far you’ve come. You deserve it. Thank you!
Hands down best videos ever from John. Best gear - best advice - best channel - best training!
For non belted carry the phlster enigma is a game changer, highly recommend👍
@12:00 John just validated my nunchuck and bo staff skills.
Thanks for all the great information, John. For regular guys like me, you're doing us a huge service by getting more of us to take the leap to concealed carry. Thank you for your service, and for the encouragement to always be better protectors.
Thank you for all you do John! Keep it up!
Defiant Munitions is the best defensive ammo I've ever carried. Awesome to see you are using it as well. Thanks for the quick and concise breakdown on your EDC. Good stuff.
How does the defiant munitions defensive ammo stack up against the Hornady critical defense?
For the belt, it's my first time upgrading after 20 yrs., and my first upgrade was a variation of the supreme appendix. I've practiced my knife draws with it, has been through wear and tear, and it still functions properly as a belt. No frays, no holster marks, nothing. It's awesome.
John, you need to get a Keysmart key organizer for your keys. It keeps them slim and organized and if you strategically get the keys cut in different colors or designs, it makes it SUPER easy to remember which key goes to what.
Love all you do but I’m very disappointed in the delay of shipments. I’ve been waiting awhile for something simple that I could have had in two days.
Granted I don’t know if something else is going on so I will still be ordering several things you spoke about.
Thank you for all you do and have done.
Ive been using Tier1 concealment holsters because of you and i absolutely love it! Highly recommend!
Same, I love my Tier 1 holster
My teir holster snags my full frame. I keep grabbing at the wrong ISWB.
Have same, would have spent $20 more for WPS brand but they were sold out
Can y'all help me figure out the hoslter? The CR920 is not listed on thier site and when I reached out to T1C they told me that they don't currently have one for the CR920 and that they do not recommend using the one that they make for the glock 43x for the CR920.
@@owensc1982 did you get any more info on the holster? I am currently having the same problem finding the holster
Been running Defiant Munitions for 2+ years. I’ve been through 2 vehicle interdiction trainings shooting through windshields and rear glass… only to be surprised to not only find great penetration but also expansion on the gelatin dummy inside that was almost the same as the denim+ gelatin test.
I’ve never had a more perfect round.
Always enjoy your content! Also just another recommendation to checkout the phlster enigma, really has upped my concealment game and let's me carry 24/7at the gym in short/sweats etc.
Also huge improvement in holster security and comfort while rolling & running.
I have my bug out pants, shirts whatever in my bag ready to grab and go when time comes. Now just waiting on that time to come.
Agile body and mind most important.
My daily walk the dog EDC runs about 25 pounds. Water is the first big item, then it is mostly a bunch of small stuff. I've used most of it at one time or another. It is great exercise to wear a pack while being pulled to the next great scent by a large hunting dog. Since retiring I'm down 70 pounds, my balance has improved, my blood pressure and A1c are great and even better looking. We are on a pace for 1,100 miles this year, up from 925 last year. Highly recommended. And it gets me out of my wife's hair for two or three hours a day. Retirement is great. Also gardening, musician, other hobbies, household chores.
Having a dog is great. I’m retired 12 years and had a daily 2 mile fast morning walk. Unfortunately, Duke is old and walk now is a slow .5 miles. And if I go out without him he just whines and barks until I’m home.
@@bobgraff1796 Duke, gotta be the name of a good dog. Can I bring a baby bunny by to cheer him up?
@@phild8095 Duke is a good boy, no genius but a real Lab. Don’t know if a bunny would entertain him. We have a kitten whom Duke totally ignores, though she follows him and nips at his tail and paws.
I have bought 2 of the edc belts
The black camo and buy one per year... fantastic belt... love it! The last one I owned didn't go bad but I gave it away to a cousin to convince him this is the best belt
Regarding your "boxing blade". In a defensive situation I'd want that blade facing the other way, more like a traditional karambit. The primary reason is that in most defensive boxing stances (or if you end up on the ground) that blade is going to be closer to your own eye, temple, and throat than your opponent's. A slightly stronger opponent, or one who simply uses two-hands-to-one, or even just someone who gets lucky, will have your own blade in you sooner than you'd like. With the blade facing the other way, it becomes nearly impossible for the blade to be redirected towards anything too lethal on your own body (most likely leg at best). The slight angle of your blade isn't enough to make this untrue. Spar with a rubber knife to see how often it ends up against you. Furthermore, I would not want to risk my fingers on a folding blade, especially not one that doesn't open a full 180 degrees. The leverage against what is effectively a tinfoil lock on the blade isn't enough for me to trust. So a fixed karambit facing the other way is a better choice. Disclaimer, I live in Canada where I have no right to defend myself anyway. But if I did, that would be my advice. :-)
I’d love to hear your opinion on EDC options for someone who is a DOD employee on a military base since we are not allowed to carry a firearm on base
I love your products, thanks for all the work you do!
On a side note i would like to mention the need to carry OC Spray (POM Industries is a great choice) and also the need for a tourniquet.
Whether you are going full EDC + Ready Bag or just a simplified EDC for the day. A tourniquet and some OC Spray is definitely a solid addition to what you mentioned in this video! Great stuff man 🤘🔥
More solid content.
Thanks for being rad as usual.
Hope I can get into a class soon
Rightly said! The best EDC is your health and strength. Then training. Everything else is extension of you.
The warrior poet society is the one who introduced me to the EDC community and its philosophy. My current EDC are Ontario RAT 1, Victorinox Huntsman, Leatherman PST, and Wurkkus FC12. I also carry some fire-making items, like a ferro rod and lighter. The only thing I still don't have is a handgun. but it's better than having nothing at all. I'm glad to find channels like this.
🇺🇸 My pants have actually become the core of my EDC. Pant requirements; Calf, multi tool, flashlight & cargo pockets. Built-in knee pads. Elastic waistband. Rip-stop material. Gusseted crotch. 🇺🇸
THANK YOU JOHN & COMPANY...... 🙏🏽
The extent of a British edc is a pencil and maybe if you're really risky, a toothpick.
Odd choice of EDC when attempting to find the Holy Grail...
@@eintracht691 But old boy you can poke the Saracens with the toothpick😂
Order a 'pine float' at the pub. Ice water with a toothpick on top.
Only if you aren't a criminal 😊
Just one more reason why the uk is great to visit but terrible to live in and have a family in
Glad you added Health in there. I'm 57 and I do stretches and calisthenics every morning just like when I was in school. It's even more important now. If something is on the ground, I just pick it up... people I work with, it takes them half a minute to pick up a piece of paper off the ground! I'm like, "Stretchhh!!!"
Thanks for taking the time to mention us, John. Means a lot. Although, you should note that we haven’t been wearing any cloths while loading ammo for years now……
Lol
How can we be certain you haven’t inadvertently chubbed a few rounds?? Who’s QC-ing your staff?
@@WarriorPoetSociety to be honest, You can’t. We only divulge this type of information during our private tours.
@@defiantmunitions 😄 🤣 😂 😆
Careful when the press comes down.
This is probably one of the most wholesome-fun and informative channels in the firearm community
Hi John, I went to the Tier 1 website, and I was looking at the Xiphos V2 but I don't see the CR920 listed under the Gun Make & Model. which one did you buy?
Per AHA, rescue breaths are optional, therefore you can do compression only cpr and bypass the mask.
Great vid! Thanks for sharing John! Side note: Defiant Munitions is in all my life saving equipment from my Glock to my AK.
I wanna see more about that backpack and pistol combo
Really solid EDC. Is there anyway we could have a faster transition from the carbide glass breaker tip to the traditional pen insert?
It's really inconvenient when I'm ready for a black mask abduction and I suddenly realize I'm just trying to tab out on 2 for 1 apps at chilis.
Thanks for the inspiration! Continue to become a force for good is now a new mantra for me. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Not too many people talk about how edc is more than just what gun you have on you. Great video. Ps. I loved the janitor thing
I grok your whole ethos. Thanks for your efforts, my Brother in Christ.
We are SO similar man! I only wear pants when I'm not wearing shorts....or sleeping...I don't wear pants when sleeping....showering also, I don't wear pants OR shorts in the shower....other than that, we are the same. 😂
JK man...you're awesome, thanks for what you do!
Dude amazing on the glucose paste, as a Type 1 diabetic I personally really appreciate and respect that
High Speed Death Chess
With a king laying on its side.
Nothing else but the WPS logo somewhere else. No writing or links or anything else!!! No war poet. Just something to make people ask questions.
This please!!!!
It’ll work on shirts and hats and it isn’t goddy or tacky or even tactical!!!
It’s something you can wear anywhere. No flags or who it’s from. Just enough to make you interested!!! To strike conversation.
Yes please! This is a great idea and I would buy one.
I just picked up the streamlight wedge. I think you'd dig it. It charges via USB c like the rest of my gear. 👍🏾
John are you going to review John Wick Chapter 4?
I love the Xiphos V2. Been carrying with that for 2 years now. It's hard to find videos on it on YT. I might suggest putting the actual holster names in the description, so others can find your thoughts on the two specific holsters when trying to find them on YT.
Made me laugh, and informative. What more could I want? Nice job.
this is just me but i wear cowboy boots bcuz i just come from a family like that and i still wear the flap over the boot
Great video! I really like your emphasis on skills, mindset and health.
Glad to see I'm not alone with using earplugs to keep from being overwhelmed by loud noises. I personally use the calmer plugs which help without totally cutting hearing capacity.
Thank you, Pants, for always being there.
Always enjoyable to listen to along with really good advice and gear. Double thumbs up.
For boots give the Lowa renegades a try they are my favorites and served me quite well.
It’s so despicable you do things that are so honest and valuable to the community and yet you’re still demonetized by UA-cam. Pathetic on their part. I gladly subbed to your network! Much love.
I'm a boxers, belt, and side arm at home kind of guy. At first my neighbors were unsure, but now my neighbors get it. Community is important.
“Warrior Poet: Hard to Kill & Good at Protecting”…
The next WaPo shirt I’m going to buy.
I added some Velcro strips to extend the length on the ankle kit which allows me to wear it above my calf when I have boots on. It does print a bit more those who have noticed typically think its a knee brace and it is still quite stable and comfortable when out and about. Great video as always, love the information, tips and tricks
Defiant Munitions is top shelf ammo! It's in every pistol and rifle I own!
@8:39 where does John explain why he carries a suppressed 22?
Mr Lovell, several times I have seen you with a silencer. ( I think on the MP compact?) Anyway, I have been looking at the Silencer Central "Banish 22" suppressor because they are VERY quiet, do everything for you in an easy package, and not outrageously expensive. What you you like? Thanks.
Defiant Munitions is pretty awesome stuff. I know the owner Small shop, former Law Enforcement also raised in the ammo industry so the guy knows his ballistics. I trust it in edc vs a huge company way more.
Those are my favorite Solomons too. The only issue is the tread wears out way too quick. But thanks again John been following you for many many years now and you’re still one of my favorites. Congrats to your success.
Federal HST has been my carry load for years now. Never heard of that ammo company before I’ll have to check them out. Lately I have been hand-loading my own defense ammo using Buffalo bore recipes.
I know someone will chime in and say something about the legality of it but honestly if I’m using the same exact brass, bullets, primers and powder, no one could possibly know the difference.
They didnt protect your credit score, it went down 10 points during the commercial.
Opening joke won me over on this video so fast. Earned my like.
I’ve been carrying the warrior poet splinter for the better part of six months. Love it.
Awesome stuff! Appreciate everything you do!
I'm literally a janitor at work listening to this 😂
Salomon makes awesome footwear. I wear their shoes for disc golf. I like how your setup is simple and functional.
I carry a small knife that has a fingernail file and awl on my Keychain. Can't tell you how many times I've used that. I also have a slim whistle, can opener and small ferro rod (all on my keychain). Always pays to have backups, especially if they're small enough not to get in the way.
The little tweezers and scissors on tiny Swiss Army Knives are the two EDC items I use the most.
Wearing earplugs in church also brings affirmation to how angelic one’s voice is while singing along with some of the church’s local talents special music performances.
Hey John. When you showed off your keys to the camera, I would be a bit more careful than that. It's pretty easy to take any picture of a key and 3d print it. There have been cases of people taking pictures of keys through the window, 3d printing them, and breaking into people's houses using those keys. Key sheaths is one way of deterring that kind of crap, but the more important thing is to remember that locks only keep honest people out.
My EDC includes a set of TEUs (tactical eating utensils). The fork comes standard with a pick-a-toothy rail, upon which I mounted a light.
I hate carrying a bunch of keys. I have a separate set of keys for each vehicle to minimize how many are on the ring. Keys for hitches and bike racks and padlocks etc I store inside the vehicle. The most I ever want on the ring is vehicle fob, key, house key and mailbox key.
I looked into an Enigma for concealed carry for working out and if i wanted to dress up. It works for allot of situations when a regular holster might become a hassle
Funny joke about the library card, but libraries are also a great place to find community/ local events. My library even does free tickets to places like theaters and art museums that I probably wouldn't be inclined to visit.
I'm a small time custom holster manufacturer. I made an AIWB sidecar holster that I carry the Sig XTen in every single day. That thing disa-freaking-pears under just a T shirt. Not to knock T1C. I'm also 5 foot 10 and weigh 145lbs. Small frame kinda dood.
John, can you please elaborate on the T1C holsters more? T1C doesn’t make one for the CR920 and does not recommend using the 43X versions. Mainly on the Axis Elite due to the mag pouch not being designed for the proprietary SS magazine.
Also for what it’s worth, I have an Axis Elite for my MR920 and the click retention was terrible, they said it’s a problem with the skinny trigger guard on all SS so they sent me a TLR-7A version so it would use the friction on the light instead.
These videos are bittersweet for me. One they show useful tools in everyday life, and two they cost me money.
Saludos desde Argentina. Muy bueno el video. Gracias por compartir la cultura EDC
I wear a Wilderness belt with the steel buckle.
It doubles as a stand-off weapon/slung shot when I can’t carry the gun (such as on the plane). The buckle will put a hole through 3/4” plywood!
You're the Marry Poppins of EDC! Great video Thanks for sharing!
Knowledge is having what you need wisdom is knowing what to do with it 🐝
The newest CPR does not have someone give breathing during CPR. I talked to a fire fighter about this, he told me, and this seems to track, that the oxygen in the air is only about 32%, when giving breaths it is actually less, so it doesn't help much doing so. Circulating the blood is more vital, and the compression of CPR actually moves air in and out.
I don’t get to see as much WPS videos as I’d like but I do enjoy the ones I see.
the older I get the more I think that dystopian future is coming, thanks for the content
John, in light of the Nashville tragedy....Could you/would you do a video on WPSN or youtube on how to prepare children or how you have prepared your children to face a threat or what to do if they ever where in the vicinity of a shooting? I have 3 young warriors that I am raising. I want to make sure they are prepared for an intense situation & coach them through the steps to get to safety.
One of the items I feel is how to get a person no matter the age to move off the X & think critically in the midst of crisis & chaos. How to do this with children?
I appreciate your content & heart behind your material. Keep up the good work. - Thank you
P.S. I am glad you were able to reinstate all the corners of your man card after shaving your beard off. Welcome back ... I kid, I kid
Love how you wrapped it up. First SOF truth: Humans are more important than hardware.
@WarriorPoetSociety North American Rescue and American Heart Association no longer recommend mouth to mouth during CPR. I recently learned this in a CPR refresher through work, even though I was always taught mouth to mouth in between chest compressions. You can ditch the CPR mask if you want!
just crank out those chest compressions, 100 to 120 BPM until your arms give out, then five more minutes.
