Wow thank you for all of the detailed information, it’s so much easier watch a video vs read from a product page. It’s clear that Sun Home stands out from all other plunges that I’ve researched. I own a few contrast therapy studios and want to make sure we only use the best. I’ve used their saunas before as well and they are fantastic so if the quality of their pro plunge is anything like their saunas then I will be extremely happy. Thank you again for the product tour!
Nice review! I just got my Sun Home Cold Plunge Pro. Like you, I’m also very impressed with the quality of this unit. Looking forward to many years of this fantastic plunge!
Sun Home's cold plunges are incredibly impressive! I adore their sleek exterior design, and their user-friendly temperature control makes it a breeze to adjust. Plus, the advanced technology and effective filtration system ensure it stays clean, which is crucial for me to relax and focus on my goals.
Hey man great video. One question I have and that is are you able to keep the ice mode on 24-7 or does SunHome recommend the ice making function should only be turned on for a set time per day?
How do you get the ice off the walls? Mine just stick to the walls then I have to raise temp for it to defrost. There is no auto defrost. It also does not sanitize when making ice also?
it does have an auto defrost, what temp do you have it set to? Yes the sanitize is something you have to turn on when needed, i do it later in the day when were all done using it so it can recycle for the next day. Ideal temp for floating ice ive found is 31 or 32 degrees
Hmm! I originally set it to 28 like you said and what they stated!! Ice formed on walls and floor. Then went to 32 and same thing. Bumped it to 34-36 and no ice ! Only way for me to get ice is to set it to 28. Then bump the temp up and scrape the ice off the sides ! Any suggestions ? Thx brother!
David, have you begun to cold plunge in the low thirties regularly, or are you still hovering in the mid forties? I followed you to the mid forties, but can't imagine going to the low thirties! 🥶 ❄️
is it possible for you to do a review comparison video of this vs the plunge all in? Im on the fence with a premium all-in-one cold plunge and those seem to be the 2 on the market in the same price points. I love that it's on caster to move and allow to clean under for a garage cold plunge and wonder if any other colder plunges will ever offer a plunge with casters to move.
Only commenting here as it’s the new video. I copied your diy ice barrel 300 diy. Really good build. Just out of curiosity. How often do you run the pump ? Is it on continuous pump as it is running at 51w when on which will add up very quickly . 74kwh in 24h I’m very new to cold plunging
@@inMotionOutdoors Take it from an old guy (66), it's not so hard to get from where you are to 32. Just do it. I'm 4-5 months into my cold journey, and love it. I would not waste my time on a unit that maxes out at 37 degrees, as most seem to do. I go 10 minutes at 32-36, and I'm just some regular guy. This unit looks very impressive.
@@rodhubbard891 what part of the county do you live in with yours? I notice at my Utah house it’s very hard to cold plunge when it’s snow / winter. When I go back south and the air temp is 90 it’s much easier to get the temp lower and longer
Hey David, I really appreciate the review. I love the unit and I’m getting ready to buy one. However, I’m a little concerned about the company’s history, and I can’t seem to find much about them. Do you know when they were founded? Do you know how many employees they have? I can’t seem to find any information about them on LinkedIn and their website doesn't offer much information either. Also, I looked up their address and it's an apartment building. I would appreciate your thoughts so I can buy it soon.
Love to help! This was just confirmed from the founder: The company founded 2020, approx 50 employees, address is not an apartment building that’s very strange (haha I’ll scour the internet for that.) Feel free just to connect him with me directly if he has any concerns or wants more info. PM me on instagram @dmausjr if you want Tyler’s contact info 🤙🏽
Sounds good, I’m sending you a PM can you please confirm SunHome’s physical address? This is the address on the invoice sent to me by Justin Allen their sales rep. 5050 La Jolla Boulevard 4G San Diego, California 92109. Best I can tell this is an apartment.
@@DavidMausJr never heard back from you on Instagram? I decided to go with a competitor because Sunhome’s sales team was unprofessional, there are only two employees on LinkedIn, and their address is apartment building. Their plunge look amazing! It’s a shame because I was going buy a sauna and plunge pro.
Looks cool but I still think the Morozko Pro is better- it just came out recently a new Morozko + Morozko is still more aesthetically pleasing to look at than the Sun & absolutely do not like the caster idea- a potential weak breaking point.
Morozoko's pro model that is comparable in terms of features costs 21k. Casters are also very sturdy and it's a thick steel tub so I would not worry about a breaking point!

At 27°F what was the max ambient that still allowed ice formation
I need one of these!!!
What is that on the end of your hose at the 0:55 mark?
Hose water filter, check it out here: dmjr.co/cleaningkit
Could be used to chill drinks for parties too lol😄
totally! :)
Would be good for raising trout in!!
