This is when I realize how much using a big brush helps. I always use smaller brushes because bigger ones intimidate me. Your sky and clouds are beautiful. Water and cloud paintings are my favorite! There’s something so peaceful about them.

Yes I have lost three friends this year. My sisters husband was only 60 he had an aneurysm that went to his heart. They were married 44 yrs. then two young people both were suicides. Praying 2021 will be better. Asking for prayers. 🙏🙏

This is awesome. I love your tropical colors and I want to practice on creating this look but with an array of colorful clouds. Right over the cove. Rainbow soft colors like soft green, peachy, turquoise, pink, like that.

That was amazing! I struggle to get a smooth gradation esp. on a canvas this big with acrylics. It was helpful to see you use a bigger brush to blend the paint before it has a chance to dry. Your palm trees make me want to try again with the fan brush. The subtleties in the sky and water are masterful. Great tutorial...
Thank you Deborah, I’m glad you found this helpful! Getting that dark to light background can sometimes be tricky especially if your paint is drying too quickly or your brush is too wet (with water) it takes a bit of practice 😘🎨💓
