Man I couldn't agree more, at the time when I was a kid, when this first started I had goose bumps (still have them now) and the way Fou-Lu fought with grace, disdain and dominance truly marveled me.
I did in 2019, still jamming to it in 2020. Played this as a kid, indeed I did. I beat it when I was fourteen. Great times, man. Still come back to this game every now and then for the nostalgia.

I read somewhere that either that chant or the one in the final boss battle is actually some sort of chant to the hindu god of war or something? Which makes it way cooler.
Fou-Lu was so OP in the beginning. After all, he is a god. But later in the game he became on par with the enemy and once that happened the game got a little more intense. :)
@@rakhmathadita3917, Fou-Lu gets stronger as the game progresses. When he first awakens, he can barely fight off Yohm and the guards, but as soon as he's at the capital, he wrecks both of Yohm's summoning in succession.
As the ryu and the gang in the western continent, the tomb ect this is when bosses used to be a challenge . Won qu ( the blue wolf) The pair of dice. Ar Tur ( white wolf)
Not a fair comparison. Sephiroth is a misguided villian, Fou-Lu is a tragic hero. Sephiroth lost his mind, his anger manipulated by Jenova and Hojo. Fou-Lu was just jaded by the world. Granted, he was a teeny bit arrogent, but thats not enough to make someone evil. Yuna on the other hand, that guy was evil, he would be comparable to Hojo in a lot of ways, as Hojo was pretty much the true villian of FFVII, just like Yuna is pretty much the true villian of BoFIV
He should of been in UMVSC3 BUT the devs said he would take too long to make......(lazy) I guess there is no chance of him appearing in MVSC infinite either.

I purposefully kept Fou Lu in normal form on bosses except his final boss just to show how unimpressed he was by his 'foes'.

without any doubt this is game is one of the best j-rpg in history, I spend about 60 hours on it

Being able to leave behind your weak ass party and be a bad*ss for a while was awesome. I just wish they gave us better story battles.

he grows weaker in opposite with ryu that grows stronger, thats why fou lou wants to be whole again with ryu

The truth is Fou Lu would be unbalanced. He'd wreck everybody way too quickly for it to be fair. He'd make Dante look like Servebot.
