That song reflects hundreds of years passed without him. He was the first emperor. He was the god emperor. I never thought fou-lu was evil, he was just what he was. Last emperor and his psycho team were the ones who were pure tyrants. I chose to unite with him. Great memories!

The kingdom to which the protagonist belongs is defeated, and the protagonist and others, who have become soldiers of the defeated army, escape their pursuers and vow to rise again. This song lyrically echoes the determination of those who are determined to rise again and their long period of inactivity.

The final boss in BoF 4 is probably one of the most memorable and well-presented I've ever seen. The way everything in the story builds up to the final battle, the way the music is directed between the fantasy adventure-ish feeling of the Ryu side and the eerie, ancient feeling of the Fou-lu side, even up to the way the final boss begins with the "ultimate form" and ends with the base form. It's pure cinematic excellence.

I wish the BOF games would get a remaster pack on the PS5 store but for whatever reason the USA lead for Capcom hates the BoF series and only wants to promote their more well known ip’s.
