I love my Corgeut railmaster homage, mine came with black denim, canvas strap, once charged the lume is superb, a nice old style green even though day lume is a dark orange, recommended from me also
I'd buy that. Nice design. Sometimes people.make evaluations as if its a $ 300. Watch. I would prefer it in blue. China to Canada 30-45 days. About $100 Canadian.
Enjoyable review brother....I've had one for sometime now and it's great....cracking design (thank you Omega), there's nothing wrong with Seagull movements, good quality and reliable in my experience....I'd highly recommend this to anyone....it is almost perfect, the only bug bear for me was not knowing it had a ghost date prior to purchase....I'm ok with ghost dates as long as I know before ordering....a smile every time I look at the dial....⌚🏴⌚🏴
I've had mine almost 2 years. We have history together! Changed crystal several times. Darkened the railroad . Brushed the seconds hand. Currently on a tan, pass-through, military-style canvas strap.
My first watch. I never bought mechanical watches before and it started with this. My casio was my watch for 25 years. With covid 19. My collection is 15.
Low price and well executed. I fail to see a downside. Impressive review Dan. My first impression is the dial really pops on the blue and white version. So many watch decisions this season.
I've got the exact same watch witb the Seagull movement and it's great. I also got the Aqua Terra homage with is essentially the same watch with the Miyota and it's much worse. In that watch it's very noisy. The Seagull on the other hand was dead easy to regulate and keeps good time since I did it. I just wish this watch had a domed sapphire crystal. Great review, cheers! 👍
I got the Aqua Terra homage in white. I like everything about it. I can't remember whether I had a movement option, but I would have picked the most expensive, which wouldn't have been very expensive anyway.
I have the same watch and I love it. I'm concerned that you think a month is a long time to wait for something from Aliexpress... I'm still waiting for everything I bought on 11.11 and I'm not expecting to see anything before January
Thanks for all the hard work helping to keep us sane in the last mad year, and merry xmas and hoping you and yours get all you all you desire in the new year🎅🏽
I ordered one of these from the corgeut official store over a year ago. Unfortunately I ended up receiving a bliger explorer instead! I wouldn't risk buying from them again.
I have a special 12 watch box that’s dedicated to my ‘Chinese specials’...Have a few extra slots to spare...I keep coming back to this one but I have not pulled the trigger yet...I think it’s time! thanks for the great review!
I am still loving the new format, the intro and the outside footage...For a cheap watch, it has decent specs. If it breaks, a Miyota 8215 \ ST16 movement is cheap enough to swap out for those that can.
These female endlinks on the Corgeut bracelets are a blessing for members of the team slenderwrist. i have a 6.5 inch wrist and my 41 mm corgeut still wears comfortable on the bracelet, but felt to big on a nato.
I just ordered this version with the Seagull ST1612 movement how is yours running now after break in? How many seconds per day are you gaining or losing? Thanks so much, I did not know this watch existed until your video.
I have an incredibly similar watch that I really love made by a famous old Swiss brand, and I'm pretty impressed. Good vid, would appreciate some accuracy numbers.
So excited, just picked up a Heitis Okeanos for £119 on ebay. Mint condition, and so well spec'd. Anyway, I am a bit of a Corgeut fan, and have owned several over the years. I still own a Flieger B, which is great value. That Railmaster has had some good reviews. Always enjoy your vids, keep it up
Actually had this in rotation for a while on the denim strap but ended up selling it when thinning out my collection. That 41mm size without a dive bezel made the dial just a tad too big for me.
Excellent review, Thank you. Other than the male endlinks, how does this one generally stack up against the Phylida SE-33 that you reviewed a few months ago?
Thanks! I would say it just feels better on the wrist, and I prefer the finishing and branding more. If this had the seiko movement it would easily be the daddy!
I have the white dial one with the seagull movement. It is a good watch, but it has some quirks that get tiresome after a while. The crown positions do not seperate easily most of the times, and when that happens you cannot hack, since the moment you try to set the time the seconds hand starts running. You have to turn the crown in the counter-wind direction while in the unscrew position and check to find when the position seperation will be more "clicky". If you just force your way into the second position, even if the seconds hand doesn't move while you are setting the time, there is a very good chance it will stay still for 3-4 seconds after you push down the crown or jump some seconds. So, even though i have it for over a year, it works fine and is very decent looking, all of the above make me wanna sell it...
Hello Dan, Great video...love the opening pictures, and for first impressions you were very thorough. I've had this watch in my basket at AliExpress for a while. It was on sale a few days ago, and I will most likely buy one when it goes back on sale again, however I will get it with the Miyota movement, for an additional US$10 is well worth the upgrade. Thank you again. Cheers
Railmaster type of watches serve a purpose, they're antimagnetic to a point. Is this watch only about looks or does it have the functionality also? (asking because I seem to get my watches magnetized too often)
The Railmaster is avery attractive watch, I could see myself wearing one (unlike Rolex Sub, for example). But a sub-50$ homage from China... If some Swiss-make company were to make a homage (like Steinhart makes 'Rolexes') I would consider buying one.
Oh just look at the comments! Typical of 2020 and "the cannot say anything about anything without causing offence". I'm watching this video having recently had to say goodbye to lovely and genuine pieces. What is wrong with the world today?
I was excited about this watch when I bought it too. But soon after it arrived, I realized it would be a Winder queen. I just cannot get past the way the movement rattles,. It sounds like a broken Hot Wheels car.
Just recently got this one and love the look - right up there with their Aqua Terra they have. I got it on the cloth strap and with the Seagull movement ( which is a bit noisy). The same time I picked this up I got the Steeldive Captn. Willard based on your review.
@@watchmewithwatches Glad to hear it. I'm not familiar with UK exchange rates, but Courgeut factory store is selling nh35 cheaper than 8215. Wierd, but I'm not complaining. Best time to buy. Also, a friendly reminder to review your videos for any trademark issues. We the community don't want to have another JOMW situation. Take care.
Looks like a strap monster. I love the railmasters more than the aqua terra's (which seem a bit flash). But i like you am not in a position to buy either. Hay ho Nice video for sure.
the biggest drawback for this corguet series of watches (seamaster 300, aquaterra, and this fella) is the buttery fly clasp. Its horrible. If they had normal clasps, these would be absolute winners. I had to put them all on aftermarket rubber/leather straps for them to get on my wrist.
I love my Corgeut railmaster homage, mine came with black denim, canvas strap, once charged the lume is superb, a nice old style green even though day lume is a dark orange, recommended from me also
Nice recommendation! Thanks
Your intro had some beautiful images.
I'd buy that. Nice design. Sometimes people.make evaluations as if its a $ 300. Watch. I would prefer it in blue. China to Canada 30-45 days. About $100 Canadian.
I’ve had mine for several weeks now and I love it. Didn’t have to size it for my large wrist looks good 😌.

I have one with the Miyota and I'm mad I sprung for it being that it was more expensive than the Seagull movement and it's noisy as hell

Looks great Dan - I'm not a fan of Corgeut as a whole and i'd never buy one of there watches but for £58 it looks very nice indeed
Looks nice. Considering the blue dial one

These are nice for the money. I'm still enjoying mine.
It's a nice watch...I have the same one. Not crazy about the bracelet, but otherwise have no complaints!
I've got the white dial version on a leather strap, and I love it. Amazing value. I've been so impressed I've ordered their Aqua Terra homage.
You love the Aqua Terra too.
@@karlsenula9495 do you have the link for that one?
Got a noisy Miyota movement, which some people might dislike, but it's got a sapphire crystal and it looks great, so i like mine
There's a Seagull one. Is it better?
@@emdblues I honestly had no idea they even had those. I’m happy with my Miyota but Seagull might well be better
Nice looking watch. Big fan of all brushed. Thanks for the review. By the way one month for Ali is fast! 😉
Great video and good presentation
Homage is the only way to go.
Comparison with Phylida?
Possibly, I need to sell a few watches before I can afford to buy a load more!
Yes! Been waiting for this one
Looks fantastic...even on a man of your girth👀
Torn between the black vs the blue. Thoughts guys?
They should make one of these with a sandwiched dial.
Mine has the non hacking Miyota movement.

Buy a cheap demagnetizer on amazon.
If the movement ever failed in this watch could a NH 35/36 be out in with different hands?
Its not impossible, but to be honest its easier to just buy a new watch! Lol
Nice watch, nice homage, nice everything, de real Omega coming soon ..
Should I have it on the bracelet or on the strap? 🤔
Bracelet is decent
Excellent easy listening to the point watch specialist , another great video. Thanx. P.S.Tx.
Excellent review 👍💯
Thank you!
Must say like seeing the plastic calipers.

So your issue is that this watch is inexpensive enough for a regular working class person to buy and its made by non white people?
@@ianphiliphodge Exactly.
